there is a marriage for a William Turvey to Martha Haynes 11/10/1840 Piddington witnesses John Cull, Jane Turvey by Banns
Martha was buried Piddington 7/9/1841 aged 24 yrs daughter of Joseph Haynes a labourer, Martha was a lacemaker.
This is probably the William Turvey baptised 31/5/1818 Piddington son of William Turvey c 1796 and wife Mary.
Sorry not to be more helpful, but the Turveys have come into Piddington, I have tried various alteration of the name Toovey Toovy, Tooby, but to no avail. Also went to Latter Day Saints looking for a marriage of a Richard Turvey to a Jane, they being the first children baptised by William Turvey who married Susannah Tedder, but no luck.

Hi Margaret

I have a Simon Tutty born c 1783 in Nuneham Courtenay, believe he married a Sarah Badcock in 1809.

If you are able to do so, could you possibly see if you can find any children for them and possibly Simon's parents. I know they had James Tutty around 1822 but am not sure about other children.

Any info would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Margaret
