He married my grandma in Gateshead but I think he came from Murton in co Durham my mum told me he was in the somn :-S |

I have a line of Henry's going back to the early 1800's all were known as by the nickname Harry and as far as im aware all used the birth name Henry on official documents apart from some census's |

It WAS this man - John Preston Wilson - his Army records are on Ancestry. Married Margaret Iowes (?) in 1911. Children John Preston, Alma, Joseph Preston and another - can't make out the name |
