Mau - Sorry you can't connect to your wifi - we got a free sky internet connector box which is supposed to enable us to access the 'on-demand' programmes. Can we connect it by heck? Not in a month of Sundays!

Anyway. Thanks to BC for pointing out 'A Symphony of Echoes' by Jodi Taylor is now available. Thank goodness for vouchers for Christmas :-D

Just finished 'A Symphony of Echoes' by Jodi Taylor

If someone hadn't read the first book - Just One Damned Thing After Another (The Chronicles of St. Mary's Series) - the lack of knowledge about previous events might make it confusing.

The historians of St Mary's observe Jack the Ripper... a little too closely for their liking..(Re)Discover the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, witness the assassination of Nebuchadnezzar, rescue 17 Dodos and transport them to the future, match-make Mary Queen of Scots with Boswell....all this while trying to defeat the 'bady' team of time travellers.
