Hobbies and Crafts

I have just done my card list and even though I made all those cards, and was sure I had loads over, I find I am six short, I was amazed, never thought I sent so many. nice excuse to make some more though.....I have put stamps on most of them ready to send, but they have quite thick embellishments on so hope they go o.k. think I will take them in to the post office and ask if I have put enough stamps on,,, wouldnt want anyone having to pay extra....I sent a few e-cards too, but havent heard if anyone has recieved them, I think I prefer to post them.....

Anybody scrapping at the moment, not many posts on here!! I know Sallie is scrapping away, have you finished it yet Sallie?

No Ann, I'm still plugging away at it, not much left to do, it's coming slowly though.

I'm thinking of having a go at making cards after Christmas when both Scrapbooks are done. I'll wait and see how things go.

Has Daff done anymore to the Scrapbook she's making? I've been wondering about her.

I think Daff has been a bit occupied as she has her son staying with her for a while and her little granddaughter for a week now and then, but she has not stopped, is just having a breather I think

I am sure you would enjoy making cards, it get a hold of you and is very therapeutic..

Sallie have just posted the mags as promised, also sent yo a p.m.

I am about to start printing off the Photos you all sent me, so hopefully I get it right its quite a while since I did any printing, so everything X.

posted the cards too, although had to add extra postage, well couldnt have folks paying the extra....lol.... hope they all arrive safely....

Hi Jean, one reason I stopped doing decoupage cards this year, with over 100 to post I just couldn't afford it.

Yeeee, we have lift off I have just printed off lots of photos, some are a little light, but look o.k. I am not good at all this tec stuff, but we will have to see what they look like on the page.... but I want to do my friends golden wedding book first trying to get it done for christmas... still trying to tidy the house up too....

Oh,Ann, I have had a ball with the printer, I have done all sorts of sizes. large ones of J and myself when we were young and fancy free....lol... Noticed my clothes are back in fashion too...I have just done a large photo of my godaughters youngster, Katie, and framed it like Dee did( I think it was dee)
added some adornments round the edges, different way to present a photograph......I had intended to sort the last few boxes out, but got carried away.....lol......have you located the bus pass yet?

Just got the scrapbooking stuff out, printed off holiday photos from september and also some from Torquay a couple of weeks ago, have to work out what I am doing now, after a longish break it takes a while to get back into it doesn't it?

Goody Ann, you can easily get going again, think pics for Jean, that will set you off...lol.....I also have had a look at my pics for the wedding book, but will start after the holiday, enjoy ....

As I will be going away tomorrow (fingers crossed for the weather). This is to wish all our scrappers and crafters a merry Christmas, I hope you get lots of crafty goodies. And don't forget to take planty of photos so you can 'scrap' Christmas later.

still I can enjoy all the tales of the littles on here, and I have lots of memories,
Did you get any craft stuff as gifts, I had a nice set bought me a mini album with matching handbag size album plus a matching journal,all in a lovely box... I was watching craft day on qvc, in the early hours today,( party next door) they were sellining a critcut set, I dont think it was the main machine rather an addition, bit pricey with the postage too,maybe I will have a look around...

off to watch Cranford, second part, by for now....

Yes I had several bits and pieces, two lots of stamps, a small punch, some crystal brads, OH bought me some nestabilities circles, Looking forward to getting to grips with them!!, he also bought me a book on scrap booking which looks good.
