Eileen I love your story. I had an experience at my mother's burial 7 years ago which still makes me chuckle. We had about a 2 hour drive to the burial ground. I should also mention this was several weeks after the funeral, as the ground was frozen, and cremation had taken place at time of death. When we arrived at the burial ground, the funeral parlour man with the urn was not there yet. We waited and waited, and all of a sudden there's a police car with lights flashing entering the property. What in the world???? |

Hi everyone, what a lot of posts since I was last on here. We’ve been in Cheltenham all morning – had to get the euros, and isn’t the exchange rate diabolical at the moment too? Got home just before the rain really came over so we were lucky. |

Eileen, we get our euros from M&S on our charge card - a month to pay for them as we have just paid the latest bill, no charge for the euros and the same exchange rate as the banks etc plus we get vouchers for using the card to spend in store. If we use an ATM abroad it costs money. We do also use our Credit card abroad, we have one that doesn't charge for use in Europe. Quite honestly I wish we would go over to the euro. |

elaine hope your Grandaughter is OK. My daughter used to faint at the drop of a hat when she was 10/11, often when I was brushing her long hair and she was standing up. She couldn't stand for a long time in one position well into her 20s, she even sat down for part of her first wedding service. she grew out of it though. |

Dad was very quiet today. He was in bed when we got to the hospital. Didn't want to get up, have a paper, or eat. Didn't want to order meals for tomorrow. It took him ages to take the six tablets he was brought. He started to nod off to sleep after we had been there 90 mins. Mum asked him if he wanted us to go, and he said yeh! One old man opperset wet the bed. Another spat out all his tablets into his glass of water. Turning it pink it looked like a glass of mouth wash! His daughter turned up, and told him he had to take them to stay well. She took them out of the water in a lump!!! |
