I am so pleased its all working out well, giggled at the when he starts to call to moan I know he is on the mend GRIN.

Hope visit to mum is ok and visit not too stressful and that she is on a good day. My freinds mum has the same thing - somedays visits are good others she is in tears.

I think, with my cookery skills, the urge to make the meals himself will get him up and about :))

Luckily, he can eat more or less what he wants when he comes home...............as he loves his meat and veg meals, they are quite easy to do.

Pleased to read things are going well for your husband and that he's feeling stronger.
Hugs for your Mum too. You do have to laugh ,I know,(along with the tears) my Dad used to gather up everyone's slippers and stash them under his bed. Poor souls. xx

He is improving every day now.................one of his drains is coming out today and he is eating a little.

He has to have another scan tomorrow and if all is well he will be home in the next few days........light at the end of the tunnel at last :))

Thank you Caz..................hopefully it is healing well and he can soon get rid of the catheter.

He walked round his bed on his own yesterday.................the physio is trying him on stairs tomorrow.

The nurses have problems fitting the BP cuff on him, as a builder, he has very muscular arms.

The food is awful though..............even my worst efforts are better, he says :))

Glad everything is going well and it won't be long before he is home.

This week has seen a great improvement in my husbands energy levels , painted a wall yesterday! Yes they can eat anything and everything when they get home. My husbands appetite is back to normal now though it did take a little while. He has had his first curry and had no problems.
