Ok - Here goes..
*Deep breath*

I think it's all 'twaddle' - putting it VERY lightly...
First of all the police wern't called...Then they were, then she was 'going' to contact them...
Then there was the Local newspapers - The sun and daily Star, lol - Then she 'was' contacting a solicitor and then didn't, then she did, then they couldn't do anything, then she 'was' again....
Then there was the BBC, ITV, Mps etc...that she was, did, didn;t and 'might be' contacting....
I have wasted the time and effort of RSPCA employees who could have been working on other things but were trying to help me locate Angies dogs...We have repeatedly asked for more info as they (the RSPCA) can find no connection between Angie and two dogs (of any discription)....

I have tried time and again to be supportive - and have been ignored, over and over - to the point of being Invisible!!!!!!!
I have offered my very valuable time, for free, without a thought for my own personal situation (my 5 year old daughter has just had an op - which has failed to save her hearing, and is due to have another two, one on her ears, the other on her right eye...) - I seriously have better things to do with my time than be taken for a ride by a total Hoax....

If it's not - I challenge you - send me the full information and i WILL locate the dogs - this very hour!!
Either put up or shut up....!

I cannot believe this has gone on for so longANY person on here with pets KNOWS in their heart that they would do everything in their power - IMMEDIATLY, to locate their much loved animal...

I have to back Lou - I thought it very strange and peculiar that from the outset of Angie's complaint that the 'RSPCA inspector' left her with no paperwork of any sort (as I understood it).

I have a 15 yr old dog here who has been a pain in the butt all his life and won't change but if for any reason he should disappear I should move heaven and earth, use everything and everyone I could think of and leave no stone unturned.

And were I given the choice of someone who had some clout with RSPCA or going to a solicitor I know which avenue I would take.

I have just been told my post sounds aggressive....

May i just point out that i am very passionate about animal welfare and have dedicated the past 13 years of my life to it...

LOU XXXXXXXXXXXX
ps. no aggression - just passion...xx

I do not think you are agressive I think you are exasperated that you have tried every way which way to offer help and if the situation is genuine and there are dogs pining somewhere - your help from the goodness of your heart has been denied.

Lou , your post is not agressive at all , You have offered help time and time again .The question about Angies thread being true or not is not the issue here. The welfare of the animals and the reputation of the RSPCA is ..
You obviously want to see this issue brought to a close and I respect you for this .

not wanting to cause any upsets here but maybe she has a reason and cannot or willnot discuss on here.i dont know angie so i cant say.
i agree if it were my dogs i,d jump at the chance for it to be sorted.but thats me.not everyones like me.
so i think you,ve done your best you,ve offered and can do no more than that.
i think its best dropped.then we can have a nice friday.xx

Maddiecow Report 30 Nov 2007 20:42

I understand your point - but who knows whats really going on. All I can say I have pointed out the legal position with regards to the dogs not being signed for and can confirm as I have done on several occasions Litigation solicitor would send a letter for about £100.00 + VAT. Could be cheaper if you went to smaller firm.

It's not aggressive Lou.

AnnCardiff Report 30 Nov 2007 20:50

not aggression - exasperaton is the word - I feel for Angie whichever way things are going - if it ain't true then I feel sorry for her for other reasons, and as an animal lover I feel sorrow over that - one way or another it'll all come out right in the end - that's all any of us can hope for and I'm sure we all do in spite of all the frustration

ChrisofWessex

ChrisofWessex Report 30 Nov 2007 20:54

If it is not true then the reputation of the RSPCA has taken a bit of a battering on this site alone - wonder if they would take action on that? Food for thought.

Toothfairy

Toothfairy Report 30 Nov 2007 20:55

Absolutly Ann....
I would think highly of Angie if she did come on here and tell the truth - whatever that may be, it takes a big person to do that...

I too want a nice peaceful Friday night, so we agree on that one Joy.....! lol...

like you say, let's have it as it is, no more messing about - obviously we are all concerned for Angie or these threads would not have carried on for so long - if she has problems, what better place than here to get some constructive help and total sympathy - no one is going to judge her - hope not anyway

AnnCardiff Report 30 Nov 2007 20:59

so if you're there Angie, don't be afraid, no one is going to bite your head off or judge you, come on in - we're all your friends and only want to help - take a chance Ange, be brave and tell us what's going on

With reguard to the RSPCA taking action i can only echo the words of my friend when i said similar to her:
'' We are busy (and over stretched) working to erradicate cruelty towards animals in this country, along with MANY other duties. We have limited funds which are better spent taking an individual to court for cruelty against an animal. It's hard enough to bring a prosecution to court as it is and i don't see any point on wasting funds on any other subject unless absolutly nessesary.''

I have to say I had concidered that the RSPCA should be made aware of threads - If whats has happened is Genuine they may take some action - If not well....

But as all the threads have been deleted it would be very hard for action to be taken one way or the other......

Toothfairy

Toothfairy Report 30 Nov 2007 21:09

The threads have been Copied!!
I have a lot of information from them all - which is when i saw that the 'tale' didn't add up...

The threads i missed have been copied by a lady who suspected this wasn't true from the start (and was called some wicked names for her loyalty to the RSPCA) - not fair in my eyes....

Nobody should be judge here....

Angie will not reply on this thread as she has been got at in the past by numerous people and she does not want a repeat performance.
And I am not saying that any of you will get at Angie, I am just stating a fact
