Just give it a rest now.

I would like to say that if I had been attacked last week by someone who worked for an organisation rather than having help offered, I too would be hesitating or ignoring any offers that now come through to use the same agency even if those offers are genuine and made with feeling, concern and caring. Maybe help has been accepted behind the scenes.

I think that until this situation is resolved and the truth is known as fact one way or the other, personal comments should not be made.

Maybe things do not add up in minds as the situation has never been experienced. How one person reacts or acts is not the same as the next.

So if help is offered and refused or ignored, there may be a reason that is a good reason to the person concerned but difficult for others to understand without information.

Regardless of anything else, Angie needs support for whatever reason and maybe just a few take care and best wishes are all that are needed by her at this time. As you are all such a lovely caring lot I am sure you will help with your thoughts.

Have a good weekend,
Jacky

I would just like to say that it was her friends that have advised her to say no more!

You are jumping to conclusions, but have you thought deformation of character, obviously not.
It was said earlier in this thread that it is being cut & pasted... too right it is

If you have been cut & pasting all of these threads about Angie, you will know that the first one was NOT put up by Angie.

I have resisted posting on this thread from the start because I felt uneasy about the "Facts" of the case.

However IF this was a cry for help it is still evident there is a problem so either way people with compassion will feel genuine concern for this lady. If posts such as this are purely attention seeking then to pull on people's heartstings and cause distress to concerned people is very unkind and before any further damage is done can I add my plea for a positive response to put this matter to bed----Finally !! ?,

Angie , I for one of many on here , would like to see this resolved happily both for yourself and the caring people who have offered both help and compassion
so please reply or PM me if you prefer and I will relay any message

A solicitor in this case would not advise her to be silent, if what she says has happened there is no reason she couldn’t post - unless she chose not to - which is her right, or if the version of events differed to what has been posted.

Her solicitor would not get involved in these threads. Solicitors bill in terms of 6 minutes - time is their product. To read an email would costs approx £20.00 and a further £20.00 to reply assuming it would be a trainee and not a fee earner or Partner where prices would increase.

To read all of these threads would not only be irrelevant but would cost and extraordinary amount of money. I suspect they would be writing to the RSPCA if they are instructed and would send an initial threatening letter based on her version of events.

At the end of the day for whatever reason she does not want our help.

I for one wont be posting on this matter anymore as there really is no point. She either dosent want, dosent need or never needed help.

This is getting daft now.

If Angie no longer requires the help publically on the boards and is set on dealing with it herself and not responding on the threads, then surely it's best to cease with these threads asking about it and get updates via pm in future?

I hope she gets sorted out I really do but this is causing problems on here every week and frankly it's getting tedious.

Sorry. But that's the way I feel. xx

As has been already said several times on this thread Angie is not going to comment.

So please leave her alone.

If you think that this thread is not attacking her you should actually read it from page 1 again!

Well said Kim - however Angie has posted today on a thread entitled Thank you

Newby Kim

This is not about loyal friends , this is not about doubting anyone .A thread was put up saying the dogs had been unfairly removed by the RSPCA .The owner posted a thread explaining she was distraught , people responded . More threads have followed describing the actions that were being taken to retrieve the animals and a lot of very good advice and offers of help were made . Some people who asked questions ended up being jumped on and accused of victimising the owner of the dogs .
Until the owner of the dogs returns to this thread to update us with information there is very little that anyone can do to help
This is not an attack on the person that owns the dogs and asked for advice , it is a polite request from the people who were very concerned from day one , to be updated .

Could I point out that if, as was suggested on an earlier thread, Angie is just an attention seeker, then this thread is certainly giving her plenty of attention. If, on the other hand, her story is true, then this thread wont be helping her at all. I believe that it should be deleted and we should all wait to see what happens.
I am not 'getting at' anybody, just pointing out the two possible scenarios.
Huia.

I have avoided these threads for the last few weeks, but now am getting really cheesed off with it.
Lou has offered the best and only solution available, but it is still ignored.
If anyone took my dogs I'm afraid I would be locked up for murder. I would not let it run on for weeks and in the hands of a solicitor. I would be banging on doors and kicking up the biggest rumpass till my dogs were back with me.
I didn't post earlier as CB had asked for no fiurther comment to avoid arguements, but I shall say my hat is off to Lou for the attempts she has made to help.
And I am not having a dig at anyone who has offered support to Angie. There are obviously things going on in her life we dont know about, Just wish it wasn't on the boards where kind hearted people get dragged in xx
