Not my evening here....fireworks going off right outside have terrified my cat and now he won't come out from under the sofa...

The sky box died jsut as the rugby started and we won't have one until Monday...poor reception here so terrible picture on the TV...

Really had a fantastic day, had my son and DIL with their two girls here for the day, and my mum, cos its her birthday, it was lovely.

I've only just got in too...it was ok last night...jsut this morning.

Some fireworks went off last night, right outside, one of the near neighbours having a party. They absolutely terrified the cat, and he still won't go outside..he's very nervous today.

awwww bless....my dog just goes downstairs and hides under my bed (which I usually don't allow), but so far, no fireworkds round here....I saw a little dog/cat bonnet on the TV which covers our pets ears...but they do looks very very silly!

I can'tsee my cat allowing us to put a bonnet on, let alone keep it there LOL

We had enough of a struggle the other day replacing his collar!

Cats disny do bonnets ;-p

Even if it's a pretty one, Julie, with little wibbons on it? lol No I think my dog would bite my bum if I tried to put a hat on her....

I did roast pork for my son and his family yesterday, and everything went perfect.

Just as well, he has gone on and on about my roast potatoes ever since he left home...and they were spot on yesterday..

Nothing left on the plates either!

And he had three desserts, on blackberry and apple crumble and custard, his favourite, then a slice of cheesecake, then another helping of crumble and custard!

He's 6ft tall and built like a beanpole!

have been a good girl BC and made fruit scones(with 'best butter' for tea.

TW, isn't it great when things go just as planned! I just love really crispy spuds but whenever I cook them something always goes wrong! *looks pitifully around for someone to cook perfect roasties...*sighs.........

One of my Grandson's like that TW ,tall and lean,he loves sweet things and drools when M&S advert comes on showing puddings!
