Hi there - thought l'd put you out of your misery - lol The missing word is 'breakfast'!!!!!!!!!! Vic likes three cereals in the bowl at one time - BRAN FLAKES - AL BRAN & CRUNCHY NUT CORNFLAKES......wellll he remembered the vet saying 'its fine to give dogs abit of bran' but for got the bit 'everynow and then' !!!!! and this morning l realised he'd been givin the poor dog some each day. It had started as a few bits, but when l looked this morning it was LOADS. If his loose tummy gets better we'll know why won't we???? men - lol lol Its been gorgeous here too and l manged to get some digging done:o) June - l do hope everyone is settled now with the move, would l be nosey to ask why Gaynor has moved in with you, l have obviously missed some of the messages, l'll understand if u say NO. Ann - l think l owe you an email - l'd love to meet up again, you'll have to give me some dates, what about Sally joining us?? Have a lovely time with grand children, don't work too hard, get them to help!!! Back to dog - this afternoon Vic decided to have a bath (he has bad back), he was pouring the water and the dog appeared in the bathroom, he was getting quite excited jumping on the side of the bath, wagging his tail like crazy - l was on the phone at the time when all of a sudden he came charging down the stairs out into the garden, back in again, out again, picked up his rugby ball, making all sorts of muffled noises, wagging his tail, up the stairs charging around - l could'nt stop laughing, he was so funny - we can only think he thought he was going to have a bath - don't know if he suddenly realised he was'nt and was showing his appreciation - gawd knows, but it was entertaining. Have some nice photo's of him trying to pinch my washing and sitting with FAT CAT. Fat cat is fine, being a pain with food past few days and brought in a baby bird (dead):o(((( Hope everyone is ok. Elizabeth are you ok?? Nice to see Fred again:o). Talking of Fred reminds me of food - we had cornedbeef fritters tonight with mash, b beans, mushroom and toms - lovely:o) The other evening we were out for a meal with daughter and partner, had just sat down when the manager came in saying to everyone in general 'is there a Jude in here this evening, there is a phone call for you' well, that really gave me the colly wobbles - there l was in the middle of no where, no one else knew we were there and someone was asking for me. When l got to the phone l said 'hello' and the voice the other end said 'no your voice does'nt sound right, l want the gardener' - phew - what a coincidence 2 Judes. The meal was out of this world and the atmosphere was great, the staff very young and very helpful - brill:o)) Night night:o) Jude sarf wales xx |

Hi everyone Its raining, everywhere is so wet, and there I thought we were in for a good weekend. At least I can now catch up on my research, I have loads to enter onto my tree. Jude, Poor Madoc, no wonder he was rather loose. The reason Gaynor has moved in with me, is that we are buying a house together, we need one big enough so that we all have our own space. We had found one that had 6 bedrooms, 2 lounges and bathrooms, it was ideal but my house hasn't sold yet and that one has, so we are all in together and I only have 3 bedrooms, so we really would like something bigger. It will be more convenient to live together, I wont have to keep going backwards and forwards between the 2 houses and they wont be worrying about me on my own. Anyway what will be will be. Well I will now take Sam to work, so have a good day everyone. Love June xx |

I don't know June ,some people are rather slow with their pets needs ar'nt they ? poor madoc was'nt getting excited because he thought that the bath was for him at all ,he was trying to say ,will you two get out of the bathroom please ,i want to use the loooooo.he he. I'm glad it was nothing to worry about ,but it made me chuckle nearly as much as my brother in law Jerry a few years ago.My sister used to work in the evenings and went out leaving him a note on the table saying ,the meat for your tea is in the fridge ,i hav'nt had time to cook it ,but you can make what you like with it.So ,Jerry gets out the bowl of meat [mince ] and makes himself mince and potato, with dumplings . The next morning ,she goes to the fridge for eggs ,and there is his steak ,still in the paper on the top shelf ,and gone is the dog mince ,the laugh of it is ,Jerry saying it was the nicest mince he had eaten in a long time [she never did tell him.] Anyway i know you will make it up to him Jude ,so i'm sure he has forgiven you already. The weather still dos'nt look good up here so we have cancelled the beach party for this weekend ,i will probably takeliz out on the moors on monday with a little picnic tea and laze around for a while. Hope everyone else is making the most of things ,and not working too hard.Fred.PtfA&G&G&S |

Hi everyone, Its not raining at th moment but the sun isn't shining either, so its a case of wait and see. Looking at the messages on here, there has been some bad thunder storms around. Yesterday, I had one of my spur of the moment decisions, I decided to throw out the cane furniture in the sun lounge and bring down the leather settee that was in one of the bedrooms, put a leather swivel chair of Gaynor's in there with it. It looks nice in there, the cane furniture cushions had started to annoy me, they kept slipping down and I was for ever plumping them up. Also it means, that at a pinch, someone could sleep on the settee in there, its bigger than a single bed. Then we nipped into town and bought a single bed to put where the settee had been in the bedroom. Brenda, I hope your visitors turned up. I have recieved another email from my contact with even more information on. I think I will be putting more information on my tree but not really progressing back with my tree at this stage. Fred, You have made me laugh, thinking of Madoc wanting to use the loo, wouldn't it be great if we could train them to use it. I had a laugh too at your brother in law eating the dog's mince. Mind I sometimes wonder at what we eat when we go to some of these restaurants. I think everyone must have gone away this weekend, I wouldn't think they will be able to do much in the garden. Anyway time for some breakfast now, so have a good day everyone. Love June xx |

Hi June ,i just wondered why you bought cane cushions to sit on in the first place,i would have thought they would be a bit hard on the bum lol,oh well each to his ,or her own i suppose. It does a person good to shift furniture around once in a while dos'nt it? sort of refreshes the rooms i think .Liz has these purges every few months ,and we land up moving things around ,more likely than not, landing back in the same place they started from ,i don't say anything ,cause it's a woman thing ,and besides ,i do the same sort of thing in the greenhouse and shed every spring lol. the sun is just starting to peek through the clouds after beeing dismal all day ,but it looks as though i may get my hour with a can of lager in the garden after all ,after the snooker is finished that is ,the one decent thing to watch on tele all week. Catch you all later.Fred.PtfA&G&G&S. |

Hi All,well visitors did not turn up ,but then we didn't really know if they would, they were going to the local hospital to see someone and might ,if they came out early come nd see us ,but nothing definate.!!!so it was not a definate visit only a maybe.!!!! Weather during the night was thunder and lightening and lots of rain.Dull morning and a brighter afternoon, but not hte day the weather people promised. I know what you mean June about the cane furniture,my neighbour had some chairs and even after she replaced the cushions, the chairs wer never as comfortable. Fred, have heard a similar story about eating the dogs dinner, but this was biscuits.A friend of ours suffered badly with trapped wind ,and charcoal biscuits was recommended. He asked his wife to get him some.which she did.She was also given some dog biscuits for thier dog by a neighbour as she walked the dog, these being in a white paper bag. She left a note saying charcoal bikkies in white bag on window ledge.(meaning white carrier bag ). Hubbie reads note opens white paper bag and eats dog biscuits, which are (not stamped with a brand name) He told her they had not worked the next day, when she realized ,she said they were a free sample, and she would buy him better ones. Have cup of tea going cold downstairs so I am off .See you tomorrow.Take care Brenda |

Hello all, It has been a lovely day here, though we did hear a few rumbles of thunder away in the distance this afternoon, not bad yesterday either but much warmer today. Got loads of washing dry as there was a nice little breeze as well. The forecast is for rain tonight but no sign of it so far. Probably will be wet all day tomorrow. Reading about the dogs mince being so tasty reminded me of a neighbour who, some years ago realised that she hadn't enough meat for the steak pie she was making - so she added a tin of cat foot and her family declared it to be one of the best pies ever YUK!!! I hope Madoc has recovered from his overdose of bran, think of him when I eat my bran flakes in the morning!! When I had my cats the mother Lucy did attempt to use the toilet - needless to say she only tried once as she almost fell in but if ever she had any sort of tummy upset she always got in the bath. Bless her she probably thought it would be easier to clean up, she was a very fussy little cat and very clean. When she became ill I think it distressed her more that she lost control and had the occasional accident. Susan is feeling a bit better, I think because she only has one more chemo session and this course will be finished. Although she still has a way to go yet, at least the radiotherapy won't be so bad as she won't have the awful sickness. Not sure about the second course of chemo which is injections. Haven't heard anything from my neice yet, her baby was due this weekend but my nephew's wife is to be induced on Thursday, 10 days early but the weight gain is not as it should be so it has been decided better to bring the birth forward. Off to bed now, hope you are all well and have a good night. God bless Love Kathleen |

Morningggg - Another lovely day here. We had that storm the other evening (Sat), it kept Madoc awake which inturn kept US awake. He really did'nt like it and kept scratching the door, he finally settled down about 3am, we went down to him about 4 times, would have let him come upstairs with us, but he learns too quickly and would have expected it. What he does like now and is soooo good - he comes up with me cause l always read(trying to concentrate on reading books again!!!) or look at my craft books or search word and when Vic comes up he knows straight away its time to back down - bless im! His tummy needless to say has settled down now - Fred you're probably right,he was trying to use the bath or loo - lol When we walk at lunch time we have to go through a park gate - l'm trying to get him to push it open on the way back, if you could see the looks l get from him!!!! lol - l will be so gobbed smacked if he actually does it oneday!! Kathleen - so pleased Susan is improving even if its only a little bit, she is so brave to go through with all this, but then l suppose she has too - really don't know how l would cope. You are a lovely mum, being there helping and supporting and especially for your granddaughter - you take care. June - ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh l see, brilliant idea to move in together, l do hope you find something soon, nothing worse than trying to move, they say!!! but then some sail through it. Good luck:o))) Has everything found a home or space in your house now, can you all move without falling over?? l moved our front room furniture round on Saturday, it looks soooo much better and gives a feeling of more space - l'm quite chuffed.Vic only noticed cause l pointed it out - men!!!! Vic's gone back to work today (bank holiday, more ££££), his back is almost back to normal, this time its taken a week to sort out. When he stood up his body was shaped like an 'S'!! Hello Lou, how you doin??? and the family???? Fred enjoy your lager - who do you want to win the snooker, Matthews Stevens for me,but young Shaun is really good. Okey dokey thats it for now.Hope all the peeps that have'nt been on here for a while are all well..............Take care Jude sarf wales xx |

Hi everyone, Its a lovely sunny day here. Gaynor and John have gone out to some park or other, they wanted me to go with them but Sam was off elsewhere and I thought I would do some Family Research and let them have time together. I have had a really good time entering the information on from 2 different people. On one part, it was about the same people but one lot was just facts and the other was from a direct relative and they told me their nicknames and family gossip etc. Fred, trust you to read it that way abouit the cane cushions, lol alright, I should have said the cane chair cushions! Brenda, Thank goodness we have escaped the thunder so far. There are so many funny tales about people eating animal food, I wonder what we get dished up in restaurants. Kathleen, I'm glad Susan is doing well and coming to the end of the first chemo, I do admire her for being so brave. and you also for helping her. Jude, yes we have unpacked all the boxes, though there is still a lot of things in the garage and in the unit that they have rented for the furniture. We have 3 bedrooms here, so we are alright normally but sometimes Gaynor's 9 year old stepson comes to stay for a couple of nights and then we have her son in Denmark that comes over sometimes but by putting this long settee in the sunlounge, we can make it a private room, for occasional use. We are still keeping our eyes out for something a little bigger though. I haven't seen Sylvia around, was she going away? Well I think that is about it for now Love June xx |

Hi all How nice of you all to miss me. On Friday my face started to burn and swell and I have a rash which itches no end. I have two bulges under my eyes so that even trying to open my eyes is difficult. How on earth did I get this, well I don't know. I know that I am allergic to so many things, and take tablets every day for allergy, but this - a mystery. Today I had an appointment at 11.20 am with the diabetes young man so made an appointment with my own doctor to ask her to look at my face. Well she has given me tablets for 5 days and a cortisone cream and have to return to her on Friday. It's about time I went on holiday! I go on the 17th May. When we had finished at the doctors Johan and I went to the garden centre and I bought lots of plants for my 3 large plant pots and two hanging troughs on the balcony. This afternoon I put all the plants in and swept up - that's me knackered. I watched snooker on television and fell asleep! I am so pleased that we don't have to go anywhere special this week. Even in the doctors surgery people were looking funny at me. I look as I have been in the boxing ring with Johan. Now to give you a laugh. I fell out of bed last night too! Johan heard it and laughed his head off - no tea and sympathy from that end! I have a habit of lying on the edge of the bed. I have always done this, even as a child. You only have to tap me and I'd fall on the floor. Mind you, this is the first time I've really fallen out of bed though. Told you you would all laugh - you're just like Johan. Sylvia xxx |

Hi all, Jude, cannot face any alcohol at all at the moment. Anyway the tablets are far too strong, making me feel sick and dizzy all the time. If it's not one thing it's another with me at the moment. Roll on 17th May. I don't have any bruises from the fall out of bed, but still have the rash, albeit a little less today. We cannot expect miracles overnight though. The weather is wet and warm. My neighbour's birthday today and I have sent Johan upstairs to greet her as I don't feel like it. Tomorrow we have to go to Amersfoort where my friend the pedicurist lives now. We have turned out a lot of household stuff and clothes which we will take to the shop who resells them for the out of work people. Not many friends around are there? Sylvia xxx |

Got a lot on tomorrow so off to bed now, might actually get some decent sleep as I am tired. Brenda |

Hello Brenda - where is everyone? I was here about 5 am, had a funny tum and couldn't sleep, couldn't concentrate enough to put a message on here, did try but even I couldn't make sense of what I was writing. It was quite light, pouring with rain and the birds were singing. Went back to bed and eventually slept for a couple of hours, think the plums I ate were not quite ripe - my digestion is a bit delicate these days I think. We should have two new babies by tomorrow, my neice Sam started early this morning but her little one is taking her time (we know this one is a girl) and she hasn't made much progress so far. My nephew's wife, Sarah, will be induced tomorrow (Thursday - just seen the time) but we think she will have a caesarian as she has had a few problems including a 4 day stay in hospital. My sister and I have decided that little Daisy is probably waiting for her cousin so they will have the same birthday. Sylvia, hope your rash has gone now and that you are feeling a bit better. I also sleep on the edge of the bed, as does my sister, have only fallen out once and that was a long time ago. Like Brenda, reached out to switch off the alarm and didn't realise how close I was to the edge but was more fortunate in that I didn't hurt myself. Hope you are all keeping well, June, Jude, Fred, Ann, and Elisabeth (haven't heard from Elisabeth for a while). Goodnight for now, sleep well God bless Love Kathleen |
