After this weekend, it would seem that thongs are very much de rigueur for meet-ups, lol. April is going to be a busy one then as I'm intending on going to the Bristol one on the 9th April but the 23rd should be ok for me.

Peter Report 13 Feb 2005 23:48

Andy you wearing thong then? I reckon April,s still a bit nippy for that lark. Anyway does anybody remember Oz in his underpants on Auf Weidersehen? Now there is a Geordie in a thong for you girls!

I know I live a long way away but my Dad and Grandad were Monkey Hangers. I lived in Seaton Carew for a couple of years and I could use the excuse to visit the few family members I have left in the NE. So can I tentatively put my name down? Pretty please?

Oh Jenny, I'd love to be there and find out what it's like where my Dad was born, but I've never been to the North-East before, and I'd probably get lost. Be nice to try one of your lovely pies too! I hope your meet is as successful as ours 'Dahn Sarf' - it was great, and next time we'd love to see more of you Geordies, Mackems & Monkey-hangers! Come on down, we're not as bad as all that.
