I truly do not think there are cliques, However I do find I'm closer to people I've met, we have a lot more to talk about and I know they are who they say they are. Saying that though... 2 of my bestest buddies in the whole world are from GR and I haven't met them... yet!!! love becx |

I suppose that some of the conversations on here sometimes appear cliquey but that can stem from the fact that they are a continuation of a previous chat................ often alcohol fuelled debates on such indepth issues as the merits of.............. oh I don't know.........haddock. These are usually conducted in the middle of the night when the 'sensible' people are asleep, and its a bit of a morning after the night before postmortem, rather than an attempt to exclude others from the 'in joke'. Excuse me Mandy blue knees I am always up late, and I am always very sensible as you would have noticed last night and by the company I keep. I thought it was a great debate until it was reduced to naming trout, there was no need for that, I accepted the cod but not that sorry but it had to be said. Hear Hear Well said Pat...............and Sue there's no point trying to get round me now with your offer of a bottle opener!!!!! (It's a screw top anyway thanks!) I will not be able to join in with the late night banter until next weekend and will be staying sober in the meantime as I have early morning wake up calls to supervise. (daughter's got a new job and we're not used to the 7am getting up yet) Mandy being sensible just like Pat. |
