Having been through this 31 years ago with a daughter, Zoe, who weighed just 1 lb 10 ozs and didn't make it past 3 days, I can only say thank goodness progress has been made with premature babies, and my thoughts and prayers are with Luke and his family. May he go from strength to strength.

Gerri, Bless little Luke, as long as he is still fighting, he has every chance of winning. My friend' s granddaughter weighed less than a bag of sugar when she was born, she is now a healthy little schoolgirl. It was a hard fight for the first couple of years but well worth it. My thoughts and prayers are with Luke and his parents. June xx
