I too recall many of the programmes mentioned here, but one favourite of my son and mine, was ELDORADO. Now stop laughing everyone! I think we liked it because it reminded us of Malta where my son's dad lives and where we had visited. Did anyone see the programme Monday evening about people owning properties in Spain? Well one chap who used to be in the programme is now a journalist - very distinguished looking now with grey hair - and I think it was him saying how the programme was responsible for lots of English people moving to Spain. Now all you have there is loads of english run bars and restaurants all serving english breakfasts, fish and chops etc. He is quite horrified. |

I remember loads of these and there a quite a few of them I'd like to see again. But my all time favorite is Noggin the Nog. We didn't have a TV until I was 8 or 9, Dad thought they were the work of the devil, but I remember watching Noggin the Nog at my Nain's house and I loved it. Nogbad the Bad surely has to be the best TV villain of all time. My OH loves Bagpuss but I've bought him all the episodes on DVD so he doesn't need to vote. Gwynne |

The thing about the A-Team was (IMO) that it was gloriously rubbish, which is why I liked it. Haven't seen it in years, so there is the chance that if I saw it now, I may be disappointed. |

Andy If you watch UKGold at about 4.30am (don't ask!) you can see the A Team. Bet you'll get up early tomorrow especially! LOL Wagon Train - I always fancied being a pioneer, especially with Robert Horton! Cheyanne Alias Smith and Jones Bronco Petrocelli - anyone else remember that? Sue xx |

I certainly remember Tugboat Annie - our family name is Brennan! Also remembered, 'Fury' - about a black horse; RinTinTin; the Lotte Reiniger 'shadow' fairy tales; Singing-ringing-tree - gloriously spoofed on the Fast Show. There was also nothing worse during a rainy summer holiday than 'Robinson Crusoe' with its dreary theme tune and subtitles! The original Basil Brush was brilliant! Happy days! |
