I am really sorry I missed it, hopefully I will be able to come to the next one. I think I will try to stay over, I have very happy memories of Matlock but I am sure it will have changed from when I was a child. It was lovely to see Linda and Vic there too. June xx

Hi June, Linda and Vic are still in Matlock. They have stayed for the entire weekend ... and Linda is going to the Records Office tomorrow to do some digging in the Parish Records! I am so glad the weather has changed for the better for them ... when they came on Friday, it was lashing with rain ! ... but Saturday was lovely and today is a nice day as well here in Derbyshire, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow stays the same as well for them. They are a lovely couple aren't they ! Elaine :-)

Morning Chrissie ! You have a point about Ken. I'll keep my eye's open for him replying to threads ... and then later today put a call out for him to let us know he's back safe ! Whilst taking to Ken yesterday about his trans UK travels to all the meets he did mention he was going to Brighton today. or rather that he HAD to be in Brighton today. What time did he leave you in Matlock? After we had left , we did feel bad about not offering to take him back to Derby - he had 'up' connection problems didn't he(hence the taxi)? Jess x

Jess ! Of course .... Ken is 'Busy in Brighton !' Good job one of us is on the ball !! Ken caught the 6.20pm train from Matlock ..... we all did ! ... but Linda, Vic, Sue, Alex, CJ and I got off at Matlock Bath and waved Ken on his way ! He did say he expected to be back in London 10pm ish ! ... so he probably got straight on the next train to Brighton !!! Elaine :-)

I was already worrying about that Sue LOL. I was only following Elaines instruction when I changed the title:)) Re the photos - you just click add and then find them wherever you have stored them on your computer. PLEASE don't put the awful one of me up though will you.
