Since this has been nudged and it is the first time I have seen it (lol) thanks everyone for a great start to the weekend. I said I was going to Brighton because I didn't know if you knew Lancing , which is between Brighton and Worthing. I do voluntary work for Middlesex FA and our Under 16 boys were playing Sussex U16's at Lancing Football Club, Sussex won 1-0 we (travelling party) were all given a great reception especially when they found out I was a native lol. Monday met up with my daughters for a birthday drink (I kept that quiet) and have now been dry for about 40 hours, need another Meet haha! Ken xx

Hi Linda & Vic, Glad you arrived home safely. Sorry you didn't have any success at the records Office :-( but thats probably why the weather has been so kind (bearing in mind it could have been a lot worse!) ...so you could enjoy Derbyshire whilst you were here ! Less of the oldies ! we're about the same age ;-) Any photo's to upload ? I wait with baited breath !! Elaine :-)

Well at last we are back and able to join this thread!!!!!!!!! We had a great time thanks to Elaine who took two oldies under her wing and looked after us so well. First to arrive and last to leave.( What does that tell you?) Had no success at the records office but thanks to Julie Pink Sahara found a long lost rellie's final resting place! It was so lovely to meet you all and to renew friendships too. Linda & Vic x Am hot footing to see photo's now.

jess , i didnt know you could do that either. but i just went on there and it was going to let me do the same to other albums. mind you, it is handy you found out... if anyone wants to put their matlock photos on with mine, please do. because the site does not seem to be letting people start new albums... it took me 4 days to get mine on there from york. sue. xxx

I DO have to say though... my computer CRASHED whilst I was viewing THAT photo ... so I'll say nothing else. I have loads of photo's now, that could be put up ... but didn't want to Gate Crash Sue's albumn !!!!!!!!! Hi Chriossie ! I got them, thanks ! Kids have been looking at them all and I got waylaid helping JANET out on Records ! (Elaine shouts LOUD enough for JESS to hear !) Now I have to go and see what photo's Jess has sneeked on ! Elaine :-0 How d'ya sneek photo's onto other people's Albumns ????
