Easy one - think of a film (any film) in which this actor appeared - his daughter (an actress) will be marrying an actor soon. He and his daughter do not appear to be on good terms. :-)

Hello Just popped in and saw Aileen has chained herself to the heater. Aileen looking at the first clue - the name should have been Urich without an 'L' which would explain the slow response as there is also a Robert Ulrich who is a director or whatever and is very much alive. Anyway here is two to getting those grey cells moving - Nicholas Hammond who is still acting what was one of jobs before stardom - clue - bathroom line. Charmaine Carr did one film after 'The Sound of Music' and quit acting to do what - a certain Mr Jackson has been a client. Google away - the answer is there

You know I don't google John. I leave that to others. Gone and thrown the big two page article about the cast of the Sound of Music in the bin! Wasn't Hammond into selling bathroom tanks or Thomas Crapper's (toilets). As for Charmaine Carr. Haven't a clue. Something in the music industry maybe or a lawyer?

Belated reply to BC - yes. Sorry, have been out most of the day meeting my sister in Bath, exchanging Christmas presents. Only day she could make it, otherwise I'd have been at the London meet. :-) Joy

Hi Aileen, Haven't been studying today but I'm doing some work tomorrow. Also have to tidy my room. I was thinking of getting a part time job so I asked somewhere but I got an address. I'll be writing a letter tomorrow. How are you? Lucia :-)

Oh chugging along Lucia. My short sabbatical from working has lasted about 14 months. I'm bored stiff. Was alright at first but as time has gone by have got lazier by the minute. Not the right time of year to be looking for a job but got my act together last week and in one day have interviews for four jobs next week. Three are law orientated and the other is something entirely different. No worries if they don't come to anything. At least I am hopefully joining the human race again!
