Well its great to see so many middley's and oldies all together lol. Well my fave 'addock has now arrived ;-) Jeanette what you have said has happened to me so often. I have typed stuff i think might be a bit witty then I wonder will the person take offence or get the hump & so I delete it. because we are not sure which way people will take us. It does take time to get to know which way people will be with us on here. Hi Sue I think I know which wee pal you are talking about, gets a bit bored at times, Happy Christmas to you too. Sue the other Yorkshire lass, good to see you as always another oldie. lol. Pat x

I don't post as much as I used to and I've been a member for quite a while so I guess that qualifies me to say hello and wish everyone a Merry Christmas on this board. I hope everyone has a wonderful time. x

Len of the Chilterns Report 12 Dec 2005 22:54

They said on telly t'other day 'These days you are not really old until you are in your 80's'. So I'm really old - got all my marbles, though. Len. Ps. If you want to add a lengthy bit (as the first reply), as you did Pat, type it elsewhere and cut or copy it. Then paste it as soon as you've got your thread on the board. This will stop the trigger happy types getting in first - and you can take your time about checking the spelling etc.

Oh better start catching up on you all who have popped in to say hello. Well Marie I do hope you will pop in more often and maybe post or add stuff too. I don't believe a word of that Jess, that sounds more like me some days lol. Well Chrissie you are number 179953 so I think you can consider yourself OLD!!! like me :-))) Well thats great news Kim you are not sick of us yet then? :-)))))))))) Certainly all the people who are wishing everyone else a Merry Christmas, those we do not see too often I do hope to see you all around more often. Pat x

What a lovely turn out. I really want to say thank you to you all for posting on here, I sometimes find it daunting posting threads I still feel a little nervous at times, I would be mortified if no one bothered so everyone who takes the time to join in its very much appreciated. Hello David good to see you, see how you are remembered ? i think its really nice to be remembered for tasty jam :-) Hope we see you more often on the boards. Big Shaz you inspired me to put this thread up & I am really pleased you did :-) so stay around now you're back here, we will understand that you may take sometime off to have the baby, thats allowed :-))) Hiya Cath don't think we have spoken for a few months now:-( remember that thread? grrrr. Hope you are ok? hopefully instead of just looking maybe you will post more often :-) Sue at Langley Vale don't see you post as much as you used to its good to see you are still around and have posted on here thank you :-) Pat x
