Hi Deb Nice to see you it says you joined November 2004, so wonder are you a middley becoming oldie lol. Funny thing about the 'English' lingo its being used in lots of different places these days I reckon that's probably due to a lot of the programmes being shown abroad. The success of Only fools and Horses being one of the major factors. Hiya Maisie in Wales nice of you to drop in & thanks for the good wishes same to you. I hope to see you all on many threads and maybe doing a lot of posts yourselves. Thanks again Pat x

not sure where I fit in 'Old' or 'New'. If you'd be talking age then I'm in the middle. Have been a member of GR for over a year now. Have alway felt welcome. If I feel inclined I just jump on a thread and have never felt unwelcome or ignored. Must admit sometimes some of what you talk about is 'over my head'. talking in some of the UK lingo, names and places I'm not familiar with but I just sit quietly and read as things progress and catch on pretty quick. Here in CANADER AYE we talk a little different. lol Best Wishes all and Thanks to everyone who has made me feel part of the family over the past year Deb

Hi to the folks who are amongst the last round up, on this thread I have been to bed tossed and turned and i am back on the computer to say thanks to one and all. Tina I cannot think of very much to say after your posting except thank you for being part of this thread and well done you certainly have been through it and have come out the other side with what I reckon you had all along the strength and the self determination to make the best of your life, think you have done it. Whats age years and numbers they are nothing, especially when put with feelings and emotions. :-) Pat x

Jean thank you for joining in see you are a member since December 2003, I can't say I have seen you here, hopefully will see around the boards. Hiya David I do not believe you post too often but then I am biased, reckon the fanclub you have musted would also disagree :-))) Hi to another Jean :-) I agree with you as you probably guessed I think everyone should try and post even just a little and eventually it will be easier to post more often. Thank you for adding here and saying what you think. Pat x

Hi all who have popped in :-))) Nice to see you Hi Lindy nice to see you someone mentioned you not too long ago said you hadn't been posting much lately :-( I am pleased you came in on this thread. Hi Ann thank you very much for that & for popping in here always good to see you. :-))) Hi Gwynne, nice to see you too, I agree & I find it worrying. Although another way of looking at it is oldies may have had things happen so they are afraid of it happening again where as newbies shouldn't feel so bad as they haven't that bad experience to remind them. Still I am hoping some people who haven't posted or haven't posted for a longtime will do so. Thanks again all Pat x

Hi Vanessa yes it's says you joined November 2003 what a shame you don't post yet you come and check the boards so often. Maybe you can make a New Years Resolution to participate. Swiss Maid middley maybe lol. thanks for popping in, I hope you will pop in on more threads again maybe you will join in more in the new year. Hi Gill, That was one of the reasons I put this thread up for that very reason. Many people who haven't been around very much felt exactly the same as you :-( All I can say is ladies you popped in on this thread and I am very glad you did, maybe you can pop in on the odd threads over the next little while & maybe make it a more regular thing as it does get more habit forming. :-))) Thank you to you all. Pat x

Wow brilliant repsonse thanks to everyone that has popped in since last time :-) Deb you certainly are an oldie and I was just thinking the other day there doesn't seem so many Canadian, American Oz & Nz posters anymore :-( such a shame as that's one of the reasons the board was so busy during the night the time difference kept it so it was more a 24 hour site, its not so these days :-( Mandy LMHO naughty, people will think we treat all Yorkshire folk like that :-((( Hi Christine :-))) always a pleasure to see you of course, you have to start getting a little more busy on the boards you've been slacking off lately. More posts please lol. Hi Jean nice of you to pop in and thank you for the good wishes to June can only say I agree with that. Well done for all the hard work June. Thanks again Pat x

Hiya Pat I think I'm an oldie (though I don't look it :) cos I joined in Jan? 2003 but I didn't post on the boards in this name for quite a while. Can't remember what life was like before GR now lol. But I think I post far too often now;)

Hi Pat, I've been following this with interest. Good to see so many names. Like you I reregistered when I paid to join and can't remember when exactly I first put tree on here. A thought - if older members (in terms of membership not years) are worried about posting how much harder must it be for newbies? Gwynne

Hi again I see there are more since I left that is really heartening to see :-) Hiya Lynda yes I think there are only two people with such a low number. I contacted Genes last year to find out why my number was so high turns out I re-registered the first year rather than renewing I don't think my number was near as low as yours. I totally agree with you about the threads, I love to see a multitude of topics but I really enjoy serious discussions the most & contrary to people thinking they cause the most upset I have seen far more funny or humorous threads cause much worse. Hiya Trish yes you are an oldie it states you joined December 2003 I do hope New Year will bring you and others back on to the boards. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas. Greetings Cool Breeze Respect :-)One love an Inity wishing you a dread Christmas & a Natty New Year ;-))) Hiya Karen, Thanks for joining in, will you be here after 21st? If Not Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. Thank you once again everyone Pat x
