I'm thinking of starting Monday. For some reason I seem to do better if I start on a Monday. Quite possibly cos I shop on Tuesday so there's nothing in for me to scoff ie chocolate cos it doesn't last that long in this house lol

One of my resolutions is to lose one stone this year to get back to my pre-kids shape. Its about time as the eldest is 7! In my case the real problem is not the food - well not completely - as I eat healthily though I'm not good at eating 3 times a day (often surviving on one meal). I just don't have the time to fit proper exercise and mealtimes into my daily routine because I go out to work at 7am and when I get back the whole evening is taken up with sorting out the kids, cooking, and housework. Hi. Here I am - ready to start. The target I have set myself is to lose 3 stone to start with & then carry on from there. 4 would be ideal but may be pushing it. Feel all fired up at the moment & ready to go & think a glass of water before meals may help. I have also bought Davinas' 30 minute workouts so will start on Thursday when the kids go back to school. I would love to loose a stone-`I`m 10 but used to be less. I swim once a week but have done for years -need more exercise I think. If we contributed to the thread with food ideas that would be good. Rosalyn

This is a good GREEN DAY recipe..... Line a shallow dish with mashed potatoes..(as you would pastry) do not add butter and milk. Wait till it goes luke warm and then... depending on the size of the dish.. Add lots of mixed veg (cooked) peas, carrots, onions , broccoli, sweetcorn etc... Whisk up some eggs and mix in the allowed cheese as healthy extra, portion for each person to be served with quiche, also add a pot of cottage cheese and pour over the veggies. Bake on number 5 till golden brown and set to touch in middle. Delicious hot or cold. Anne :)))
