Ah Dee, you're a clever girl on the beach you took a twirl But where in Herts its hard to see how the beach can be near the sea! Can you tell us how you managed that If Herts is by the sea, I'll eat my hat Dee you must divulge your secret please, unless my consternation you can ease

I love to read all you have to say about everything you have done today Jealousy raised its ugly head when your visit to the sea I read Keep on wishing I could be like Dee and live oh so near to the sea. Lovely to walk at the edge of the waves, a walk like that my sanity saves Must go now, its getting late getting up in the mornings is something I hate Night, night everybody, I shouldn't be here Perhaps Ron will pop in later with his beer!

Oh! free as a breeze I am today While the cat's away the mouse will play! Poor hubby works at school today Relieving somebody who's away Quick as a wink as he went out the gate I turned on the puter - can hardly wait! Researching my tree, I'll be here for ages Trawling the census and printing the pages!

S-itting thinking while i rhyme look at the clock to see the time T-wo O'clock and home for lunch typing threads while i munch. U-derneath my study desk are papers screwed up, what a mess. V-ery quickly pick them up and the empty coffee cup. W-hat a grotty little chap crumbs are falling on my lap. X-tremely unhappy wife would be to see these breadcrumbs on my knee. Y-elling at me, with a frown to see the mess upon the ground. Z-ippy little vacumm eater sucks them up, and makes it neater.

Oh Donna, you have my sympathy, join us all for a cup of tea People hate the chores, I know we have to do them, even so Question for Ron, if you’re around What are these games that you have found Really Norah, you kept that quiet A knight to the rescue, is that right? Sitting here now with a glass of wine Just wishing that you are all fine

Calling in to wish you well and add my news - not much to tell Dee - you've mentioned college I see What course do you take - can you tell me? Ever since I retired last year I enjoy the things I hold most dear For I have time to savour each day and broaden my mind through U3A Going to a course in memoir writing and think that will be quite exciting I've joined a club on Family History We share ideas and build our tree Joined up with the bush walk club We usually end up in the pub! Keeping fit, long walks we take, but spoil it all by eating cake!! Looking out for Dee's new thread Page twenty's looming just ahead.
