Over here, it's Australia Day we celebrate - no work, all play. Parades and speeches, dance and song barbies and beer the whole day long. Queensland's where I live - it's great it's the lovely North Eastern State. Rainforests, beaches, tropical isles a tourist's heaven for miles and miles. So raise your glasses, let's drink a toast to our Aussie mates from coast to coast.

Hangover cures must be the thing for all the Aussies who had a fling! I don't envy their heads this morning is everyone issued with a warning? Just why, I wonder, is it called Australia Day? what happened then and why not in May? Kangaroo Day would be more fun leaping about in all that sun
