I know Arisaig very well, I grew up there for 18yrs! are you back of keppoch....or borrodale/beasdale......kinloid.....bunnacaimbe??? I'm new to this kinda forum board, where can you go on it to save from hi-jacking the thread??? Is this not nudging it up anyway?? |

I've been to Arisaig!!!!! years and years ago we went to a cararvan there - and the toilet block was miles away from the actual caravan !! There was this man with yellie wellies who walked down to the toilet block every single day at exactly the same time - I was only little but I do remember that tiny wee caravan and the man in his yellie wellies PMSL |

oh I do enjoy a boogie on the bar!!! be there Friday for another one with a wee voddie in my hand likely!! lolol Not sure where it was in Arisaig - just know it was basically a big field with caravans in it!! nice wee beach tho! |

AH Rhu/e is it sandy??? I used to take walks round the glen.Are you near the beginning middle or end of the rhu road?? Bet that lass stayed on geps site, gorten sands or jessie taigh na mara's, suppose it could even have been peter's, beatrice's or alistair's if it wasn't back of keppoch?? |

Jilly....It sounds like Arisaig!!!! Did the midges have pick axes & tackety boots too?? (we have monster midges on the west coast!!!) Oh just thought,,,,, was it past the wee white hotel on the left (cnoc-na-faire) and did you turn immediatly left or carry straight on for few hundred yards?? It could have been silver beach- Archie MacEachen the owner?? |
