Yes, Jeanette - we used to have fun, didn't we? And, no, you are not alone feeling like that. As I have said elsewhere, I have been attempting to post light-hearted, and, hopefully, interesting threads, and add to similar, but, regrettably, the other kind seem to be taking over more and more. It is sad.

Paul Report 14 May 2006 09:34

Jeanette No, of course its not just you. Many of us 'oldies' feel much the same way. Of course, if anything is said, we're cliques and bullies, and the new crowd can do or say whatever the hell they want. Paul x

Deb Vancouver (18665) Report 14 May 2006 09:53

I find myself spending a lot less time on here lately. The bitching and back stabbing, along with the underhanded comments are getting very tiring. Also, whats with the name changes? I don't know who is who anymore. There seem to be a lot of 'new' members who are very vocal and opinionated. Not 'new' members in my opinion. Deb

No, you're definitely not alone Jeanette! Paul, you have hit the nail on the head. Us 'older' members are often accused of being bullies or part of a clique, but I've never come across such a nasty, troublemaking clique as those who have been posting recently. I also think that some people forget that when they join GR, they agree to the Terms & Conditions. They seem to think that simply by joining, they have a right to say what they like, offend who they like, act as rudely as they like and post as much childish 'toilet' humour as they like - and then complain when GR enforce the rules! Mandy :) x
