Nanna Gaynor (June nr Preston's Daughter) Report 2 Jul 2006 17:22

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to everyone here who have written the most lovely words and have had such wonderful thoughts and memories of my Mum. It is a great comfort to us to know she was so well thought of. Please keep adding to them... Mum would have been so touched. I'm sorry to those who I chatted very briefly with last night on messenger, I just couldn't stay any longer. As you can imagine I am absolutely heartbroken. I just can't stop crying I love her so much. She will be smiling now reading all your messages and I am so proud to have had such a wonderful caring Mum. I miss her so much. I just don't know how I'll cope without her. God Bless You Mum, your smile is in my mind and in my heart and is helping to keep us all strong. Love you Mum Gaynor, John, Nick and Samantha xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ps. Beckham and Bonnie our Yorkies are visibly lost but are getting loads of cuddles. I will never be able to replace his (Beckham's) Mum, they had something very special together but we are giving them both lots of love and attention - Gruff Gruff Mummy...... and Mum! He was singing to opera last night!!!

Gaynor, Nothing I can say really except I can imagine how you must be feeling, it is so hard to lose your Mum, I know I lost mine in 1994 and she is still 'with me'. june will always be in your heart, she will be looking down on you and guiding you and the children, she loved you all so much. Please feel that you can come on here and cry with us any time you want to, there is always somebody here for you, as June was always there for us. Please feel free to PM me if you would rather. incidentally, sadly I never met June but had hoped to in the future, we used to PM each other and speak On Friends and Neighbours, as well as on here. ((((hugs)))) Ann Glos

Met June at the first Manchester meet and many others since. She wasn't very well at the Liverpool meet and I sent her in a taxi with my husband and grandson to the Albert Dock as it was a long walk for her. Since then we have sent numerous PM's to each other and she never failed to ask after Vic and Christopher. Her sterling support on and off the boards after Vic's diagnosis of dementia and since won't be forgotten. Her last message to me said 'Linda you are one hell of a lady' not me June you! I will miss her so much. Much love to you and all the family. Memories never die. Linda x
