A very big thankyou to Granny C and Carol. To Granny for suggesting the thread in the first place. I posted a name of on old oppo of mine with whom I served in Submarines with and had lost contact with for over 20 years. Carol pm'd me a list of Raymond Gregsons that appear on the electoral roll and one address stood out from the rest. After sending an enquiring letter I recieved a phone call from him last night and I was able to fill him in on several of our ex 'boatmates' and plans are under way for a big reunion next year. I have been trying to trace a friend of mine for years,MARGERY HINES, was her maiden name she lived in Tostock nr Bury st Edmunds Suffolk, in the 60s ,we went through secondary school together, she came to my wedding in 1966, she visted me a few times during the following year, then vanished. i would dearly love to find her.She was born 12/12/49. he same day as me. Hello, my mum in her 70's would love to make contact with her childhood friend ANNIE MORTON (spelling?) from ROTHERHITHE in South East London. Has not seen Annie since WW2. Believe Annie had a sister Beryl. Annie's gran was called Mrs Eyles. If anyone could look up Annie on friends I would be very grateful. Fingers Crossed. Selena |

Hi What a great Idea this is, I would love to make contact with a PAMELA SALTER b. abt 1945, lived in Abergavenny, wales. She moved to Bristol at some point, her mother was called Doris Davies(maiden name) and the last time we had contact with Doris was about 12/13 years ago. Any info would be fantastic Debbie |

I wonder if anyone would know my cousin, born in sept 1941in Chesterfield, (if I have the right reference), & lived when young in Folkestone Kent. William Barker, probably known as Bill, his Dad was. KEITH DUFFY was friends with my hubby in Hastings in late 1970s early 1980s. He became a nurse and hubby says he married when he was about 19? I never met him and met hubby in 1986. Just wondering if anyone knows his whereabouts |

we had good friends but last heard of in ireland, i think however they may now be either in surry or scotland jackie and allan brown would love to chat to them again, though jackie was never good at writing letters she made the odd phone call |
