I know there are other ways to find 'old' friends, but I thought we might all be able to help each other here. Some of you guys might be maried to my friends, who knows. If we keep looking at each others requests hopefully someone will get a result.

Speedy - I may be able to help you with Liz Parkhurst, I'm from Minehead which is only down the road from Somerset. I will give my Dad a ring tomorrow as he knows most people in the area (and I'm in Dorset now) and see if he recognises the name - the surname certainly rings a bell with me, but it might be a common name for that area? I'm looking for a couple of old friends who I knew when I lived in a place called Hatton in Derbyshire between the ages of 11 and 18. They are.... LISA WALKER (maiden name) and SHARON CROSS (maiden name) Have been keeping an eye out for them on Friends Reunited, but they're not members yet. If anyone knows them could you mention that Kaye White was asking after them please? I think this is a great idea and will keep checking names regularly. Kaye x

Granny Carr, What a good idea! I have been trying to locate two cousins, sisters, Sylvia and Dorothy Jordan (maiden names) born in Wigston and last seen by members of the family in the 1960's in Leicester. They were the daughters of Sid and Elsie Jordan. Both will be in their seventies now. Rosemary (Essex)

Can I join in? A close relation of mine would love to find her best friend from school, Edna Robinson. They went to school at Parkfield Cedars in Derby and she would be in her 70's now. I've sent her print outs of all the Edna Robinsons on Friends Reunited so far but no luck. She would remember my relation by her maiden name of Jean Trueman (sister of Norma at the same school). Re the friends I am trying to find earlier on this thread, have already tried on other websites ie friends reunited, and have had no luck so if anyone on here lives in Holland Park area or Glenelg Australia and know Carrol Castle a South African or Angerline from Aberdeen please get in touch.

starting to get a guilt trip...... I came into contact with my best friend from junior school last week and have promised a visit. Another thing to do on my rare days of..lol we both grew uop in Kent but she moved away to another town in the last year of juniors. And guess what!!!! She lives in Skegness and has a shop in Louth which is about half an hour away from me on my mo-ped. I did call into the shop one day on my way to mums but she wasnt there.......

What a great idea! None of the names mentioned are from my area so far, but can I add a friend of my own? I have been looking for Natasha Scholey (maiden name). She would be 31. I went to sixth form college with her in Coventry and then she moved to London. She may be working in theatre as she was very talented in that area and wanted to work in the theatre. I know she is not a member of genes, and I can't find her on any current electoral roles which leads me to believe she may be married. of course I wouldn't know her married name. Glad to see people are taking an interest in this. I lived in Leeds when I was a school-girl, and would love to get in touch with MARGARET McKENZIE and JUNE FEASBY. Both went to Braimwood Secondary Modern, and both lived in Seacroft, Leeds.
