many counties currently have hospipe bans- is GR one of the counties ? **hoses Bakewell tart down with LOADS of cold water** Elaine BEHAVE! Ok..... dont then. I spent all yesterday teatime cooking up a culinary delight for Alter, and I can off a choices of home made goodies! Which will it be Alter? Raspberry or strawberry............ .......Jelly! Jess x

one does realise of course that proper bakewell tart is not the mr kipling style one-no cherries or icing......just almonds........dear me DD.....I am disappointed pmsl.....au natruel is always the best..........the mr kipling version is the boob job of all bakewells imhanvho

Thsoe big trifles that they do in the supermarket- full family size ones,and the chocolate equivalent-when they are reduced-I buy them and have a whole one for a change.....

HOW DARE YOU impersonate me ...... you Hussy .... I send for Robin Hood to come and take you back home ..... Ego knows the difference between us ..... ! ... Jess, I'm afraid that Jelly ( yeah right - Jelly !! humph) comes a very poor second to Bakewell Tart ......especially if the Tart is red hot (like me !) and is served with Ice Cream *are you visualising this Ego ?* Ice Cream melting all over Bakewell Tart ..... or would you prefer full fat cream ..... and don't forget the Cherry on the Top babe ! Robin Hood is a very close friend of mine :-) (well, our paths have crossed many times :-)))!!! ) ..and I'm sure he would take the odd Maid Marion AWAY for me !!! .... Not up to Bakewell's at dawn then Joy !!! :-)))) I win again ..... *isn't there a song with a similar title? she wonders* Oh alass, poor Maid Marion, thou doeth retreat so gracefully :-))) The Baby Bakewell has been delivered (NO Hayley - NOT that sort of delivery !!;-) ...) .and does ask for food :-) The Ego and I ( his betrothed ) shall host a banquet in honour of our 'union' ......... all old maids are welcome :-)))) I am sending servants to slay some beast for our healthy appetites :-) Elaine ;-)
