Also you are 'petrified' of making the commitment to something.

not really - don't know many people that I've upset! can think of one that I don't have contact with anymore - to do with my old shows - a fellow organiser but I don't want to go back there again. apart from hubby that constantly winds me up & I'm so tired and snappy today! i have an unanswered question about his wife's death and his son. don't suppose I'll ever find out. I can't get the motivation up to start my new term at Scouts tomorrow - its a big committment and I'm supposed to be working on it now and I keep putting it off - that would be one thing perhaps? I'd rather be spending some time doing this, but I do love my Scouting it is just I've had a break over the summer and can't get the motivation! Claire

The little tiff is with your daughter I feel. Has she been trying to worm her way around you?

always wants more of me, but in a nice way! generally we get on extremely well! today I've been more snappy and she is tired also with back to school and late nights - hates moths in her room - just had her pleading with me to get the moth out & she was upset. Claire

Can you take a year off from the scouts?

Just

Just Report 5 Sep 2006 22:21

it is diff as my colleague has just moved to another village and don't know if she will be able to join me each week - so i'd leave them in the lurch perhaps if I had a break. mum keeps saying to me do i want to carry on It is now really the only community thing I do after quite an intensive few years in the community on various projects - so I'd miss it even though it stresses me! taking a year out? I'd feel even worse about going back then after 12mths out instead of 1! CLaire

Well the message from granddad is 'jack it all in if its stressing you that much. You can always come back to it later. You've got to think of you for a change.' I think granddad spoke his mind and is very fond of you.

Thanks Louise! It was weird, I got thrown off the server - our power is playing up tonight - and I could not get back on - perhaps he's not ready for the question about his son yet? Thanks Claire p.s. Still can't believe you got peacocks and kenneth & smoking!

Who has been walking round like a zombie at the moment? Somebody is very over tired and not caring for themselves.
