Gillian, I'm sure that most of the members who posted on here a lot, (maybe yourself in fact) are now on a different website. Good luck to you all I say, I hope you have many pleasurable hours on there, BUT, please don't come back onto GR and try to drag the site down. It is unfair and disrespectful to do that to the many members left on here. G

Bufalo I wasn't tarring everyone from the 'other' site with the same brush, not at all. Only those 'nice' ones I saw displaying a particularly nasty side on a public world wide site. I was amazed at the hypocrisy to be honest, as what they were doing there is what I have seen them slate others for here.

Well said Gillian, very well put. Faith, we all have a right to an opinion, freedom of speech is one of the most treasured things we were given in Britain. I respect yours, respect mine, and please don't make sweeping statements, I always believed in turn the other cheek. But too many nice people were hurt possibly on both sides, but many tryed hard not to take a side and be fair as they watched their board aswell as yours be torn apart for months relentlessly. Even the most patient and innofensive people had enough. Why should people stop posting here just because some would rather they did not? Things can be replaced, people can not.

I do respect your freedom of speech and I am so glad you respect mine. And I don't believe anyone should stop posting either so we are in agreement there. David. I wonder why you are not asking Buffalo the same question?

may i just say something at this point,everytime a member gets suspended it starts finger pointing.at the end of the day genes would not and could not suspend anyone if there was no reason.members on both sides so to speak have been suspended at one time or another.its not nice ,i agree,but there are ways of saying what you want without putting yourself in that position to be suspended.when the big upset happened recently,i came home from work to see total mayhem,members suspended,and a huge uproar.to this day i have know idea of all the members suspended.all i could do was sit and look in disbelief.i dont know the reasons why all members suspended were suspended.but i do know the finger was pointing in my direction,well you got that wrong. this far down the line i dont beat myself up about it,i just want peace.like many.

You see? No more friendlier/unfriendlier than before! I went on holiday for a week and missed all the hoohah this time around but it had been heading that way for months. The board was becoming tedious - now it's even more so! Debby

I don't mind you asking at all.You have done once before. Though I will continue to wonder away at why you see fit to ask me not others. I am a newish member to the boards,(June) who saw people being attacked on here and I didn't like it. So I spoke up.

Well as I have said many times David I don't believe any one has the moral high ground on this one after what I saw on the other 'nice' site last week. (and I believe I have answered your question)

Faith can I ask if Faith is your real name, as most peep on the site finnish by writing there own name at bottom and you never do, I know David doesnt but we all know his name is David;; babs

I'm no liar and I know my facts, I may be a tad short sighted but I copied evidence I saw with my own eyes. Others saw this as well. Evidence of a photo posted, a photo of myself now, next to a picture when I was four years old. It was entitled ELAINE DRAGON LADY.. I sent all the evidence to Gr but as it was on a different site they did nothing. I still have the email I sent them. I will not be called a liar Furthermore I wont stand accused of wanting to bring this site down I'm a full paying member, who despite feeling disappointed by the site at the moment, I still love the site., I also have backed the Genes team, when Ive felt appropriate and been slammed on the boards for doing so. I will still do so if appropriate. BUT I will not be bullied every time I post, I will not be hounded, and I will not be called a liar. Sorry to the Genes team who will no doubt silence me. Ive been as diplomatic as possible with my posting, but as I've had a couple of posts already removed, im sure this will go, although im sure the mention of members lying by others will stay I'm sorry Elaine x

Babs , didn't realise it was a problem? as my name appears above the post and there is no way of putting a signature underneath, I don't really see the need or the point in adding my name to the bottom. Oh and yes Faith is my real name.

Maybe it is just as well for some of the members who wish to return to this site that GR took no action with regard to the most recent 'other' site or there would be a lot more missing once the 8 weeks are up.

Oh please, please, please NO MORE. This thread is begining to turn into a slanging match, I think Linda will be horrified to switch on her computer and see how bad this thread is getting.

Its also a shame nothing was done about the first 'Other'site. and its members......... ..........................then Gr wouldnt be having this trouble now :o((( I too am leaving this thread.its not worth it
