I think it SEEMS friendlier because people are wary about posting.....either because they think they will get jumped on for having an opinion.......or because their thread will be zapped if they mention anything slightly controversial...........mind you it doesn't even have to be controversial now does it! BLAND is the word I'd use to describe this board at the moment! |

Agree with you Linda, I always liked the boards although I tried to steer clear of the bickering. I think after a while it was easy to tell thew people who kept it going. I have to say I only ever had 1 person smack my wrists for something I said and at the time I did think they were a bit paranoid as they took my thread completely the wrong way, however I let it go and have had no problems since.I think the people on here are great and so supportive. xxxx |

I certainly am not frightened to say what I think. as we all have our own opinions. What I do say though is that often I will look at what I have written before I post it, and think 'will I upset anyone by saying that' I'm not here to hurt anyone unless I can help it. So lets carry on trying to be nice people which 99.9% of people are. Love and hugs to all Lynda x |

joy i agree with you. genes has helped me so much over the last 3 years.not only with my tree but with personal issues aswell. i have made some lovely friends on here and everyone has been there for me when ive needed them genes is a great site and i love it susie |
