sorry but it wont work I could change my boardname to say...Gwens and put her membership number beside it Dragonfly *(1163397) looks like its you, but it wont be whoever sees it before its deleted will assume it is gwen and not me pretending to be gwen. only way is with fixed boardnames. E x |

But even if we use our own name people can still use that unless Genes make it so you can't change your user name. Fiona. Can someone tell me my number though please? |

As pointed out previously when this was discussed, there's nothing to stop anyone adding a bogus number to whatever name they choose either! The only way this could work is if a membership number was embedded in the poster's details by GR. Mags xx |

I think it should be the name that you first Reg with and that you should be able to change it at all |

if you cope and paste the post with the posters name on it, into an email...send it to yourself and then you can click on the persons name...details will come up as if you are clicking on it on the gr board E x |
