my youngest grand daughter is having hre baptism on Sunday so they had somebody from the church round to discuss things with them. The elder one who is nearly 4 was taking it all in. The woman from the church kept calling the baby PET. So in the end the nearly 4 year old said she is not a pet she is a baby pmsl |

I don't know if this is local term,(I'm in the Black Country),but 'cocka' is sometimes used around here...YUK!! Also hate 'bab' and hate to hear people refer to their children as their 'babbies'. On a more personal level,I hate being called Sandy...It's a dogs name isn't it?!....Luckily it hasn't happened very often! |
