Dear All

Good morning.

As I write this, I can hear the beauty of little birds singling.
Gorgeous.


Compared to others, I should not be complaining.


For me, this year has been terribly difficult.


It has been a roller-coaster.


I have suffered depression badly, had other health problems and really struggled.


I am currently dealing with a situation that I don't know the outcome of.


One person on GR has been very kind to me.


They know who they are because we communicated on 7 September.


I have made so many mistakes, I could write books on the subject and

possible fill a library shelf.


So far, I have needed to overcome many obstacles and be very determined.
This is no easy because I am usually gutless. I am not a patient person.


I can be cranky and obstinate.


But I have learnt this, to live life you have to face it.


Tell the people you care about that you love them.


If you have relatives that cause problems, try once more to resolve them.


If not, then move on and have no regrets.


If you think you can't do something, keep trying.


Have a look at what you can join in your area.


If you live near a park and it is safe, then go for a walk.

Watch the sunset and see how beautiful it is.

If you want to, take some pictures.


Try and enjoy every day and value it.


Look for everything that is good about the joy of being alive.

You are always so caring and supportive of us all here and no doubt, everyone around you, and I am sad that life is difficult for you right now.

I hope things work out for you in the best way possible, and you stay safe and well. You have had sad things to deal with and I hope the love and support you have at home can help you through these hard times. I wish I had responded better to your messages, I should have made more effort to reply to your kind thoughtfulness.

Treat yourself kindly and know how much we all love and respect you.

Elizabeth, I am so sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time this year but I hope things improve for you in every respect. It sound as though you have developed a lot of resolve and determination so I hope the rest of the year is plain sailing for you.

Dear EOS,

You have always been so supportive, and understanding of others on these Boards that it is now time for that support to be returned.

I know that the current climate in Australia, relative to Covid is totally different in Australia, particularly in Western Australia, to that in the UK, but I feel sure that your strength of character will see you overcome what at the moment are obstacles on life's journey.

Thank you very much for your kind words. :-)


The pandemic in England has driven people crazy.
When lockdown began, we were supposed to stay at home.
Except for work and essential trips, we did this.

However, there were others who did panic buying and left the shelves empty.

We don't seem to care about families and community life.
This is very bad indeed. Hopefully if people are a bit less selfish
things will improve.


Hope you and Mrs Allan are taking very good care of yourselves.

Elizabeth you are the one constant on these boards, always there to support and encourage us along the way, you are much loved on here and maybe we take you fo granted.

It has been a horrible year so far and for some of us there seems no end to it in sight. I hope we can somehow overcome this awful virus which drags so many down and adds to other problems that many of us have,

Dearest Elizabeth, I too am on a Roller Coaster ride at the moment. Your lovely thoughts and words give us all a boost <3. I bring myself back to ground every day by thinking that there are a lot worse off people than myself . Take very good care of yourself and you are never alone while you have us to talk to. <3 <3 <3
