Paul Merton's has been altered so Poldark can be on during the bank holiday :-(

I enjoyed it, but I do wish the experts would point out why & how likely it was things that happened happened because of whatever & not let the celebrity assume things!
Anyone watching these programmes that are new to Genealogy need to be clear & have more clarity about the whys & wherefors of those times.

They don't seem to be doing any searches themselves in this series. Sure, we know that they've been told what or how to do it - isn't the element of discovering something for yourself part of the journey?

doing some searches, it seems to be the expected

It was the best one this series - but they didn't tell him a lot of the rest of his family on the Irish side.

Felt very sorry for him - not that I have ever watched anything he has done.

He put a very brave face on it all

The Sharon Osbourne programme was quite interesting last night, if you ignored her emotional act.

There were a few things I would have liked to have looked into, one being the elderly mother mentioned when her grandmother was arrested. It would have been interesting to know who she was.

Fall River was interesting too, Capitalist exploitation if ever I saw it, but whatever happened to the ancestor who came back to England with his daughter?

In my opinion the best so far. Very interesting ancestors and quite heart breaking news about the children, unfortunately the time and conditions killed
so many people.
Not a fan of hers and expected her to over react but was pleasantly surprised
to see her do some searching herself.
