Yes it's on tomorrow (6th) at 9-00 in England, but Thursday (7th) in Scotland

BUT according to NEXT weeks Whats on TV mag for Weds at 9-00pm it's showing a New one off documentry ....Putins Russia with David Dimbleby.
I also checked next Thurs because Scotland is showing WDYTYA this thursday, & at 9-00pm it says... New, The Trouble With Women with Anne Robinson!

There are no variations shown in the box at the bottom of the pages for those 2 nights! All very odd.

According to the forum - this was a special one off episode to do with Suffragettes as its the anniversary this week.

I think the rest of the series will follow in a couple of weeks.

Never know a show that is mucked around with so much (well apart from Casualty and Holby)

I missed the beginning few minutes but despite not being too keen on Michelle Keagan, I found the story interesting.

I have to say I fell asleep towards the end - I thought it spent too long going over things at the beginning & I found her voice just got to me & I drifted off.

OH said it could have all been done in 30 mins.

Hope the rest of the series is better.

Not impressed, & as for the suffragette section well there was no actual connection to Michelle Keegan, too much time was spent on that, the person in question "only" signed a relatives birth certificate!! she was after all the registrar at the time!

I found it hard to stay focused on it all, can only hope the programme gets better!

I too initially thought the connection to Emmeline Pankhurst was rather tenuous. That's until they produced the 1911 census - the grt whatever grandmother's occupation was Suffragette.
Prefer programmes which go back in time. Although the turn of the 20th century is outside our living memory, most of us knew relatives who would have been alive then.

Back on TV next Monday to Clash with Long Lost families which is now very stale and always seems to be the same sort of stories.

I found her irritating! but as I am not a fan of her that may have had something to do with it!
Stuck with it but it didn't excite me!

I do find it rather odd that the parents / families have in their possession partial made up family trees & other paperwork & photos & yet the WDYTYA subject has apparently never seen any of it before the programme??

I loved it but I do like her (Olivia) - i found her rather child like in her excitement but it was very refreshing compared to the other one in the series Michelle something who I found very boring and a bit thick. her story was quite interesting but the girl had no personality, Whereas Olivia seemed someone I would like as a friend. My husband said she was too giggly and girly for him which put him off but he liked the story.

I hope the others will be as interesting and thought provoking. I love hearing about that era - trouble is I want to know more.

Funny you say about the family tree. My husbands family were very interested when i started working on a tree & after nearly a year - his mother stated there was a cousin who had done some work on a tree many years ago & then found his name and address. Who in turn produced quite a good tree which would have saved us a lot of time and money. She then said oh there is a very distant relative who wrote to us a few years ago. Found the letter and came up with another contact and another copy of a tree.

His mother said she wasn't really interested then when they told her about it - but now she was older it seemed more interesting and personal.

Since then we have got an awful lot more and done our own trees for the family.
We have been doing this for over 25 years now . Only in the last year have his great Nieces asked any questions. That was only because they were doing the Elizabethan era. Its not everyone who is interested in family trees at the time people talk about them.

BBC One 9pm tonight its Lee Mack

No idea who he is as not watched any of his comedy shows - hope its as good as last week .

I've just been watching Lee Mack and thought it was very good. I was particularly interested in the bit about entertaining the troops in WW1 - not how I imagined it at all!!

Must admit I like Lee Mack.
But this programme has put a different light on him..

He is bit like all of us who has done/doing their family tree ,He cares where they came from and who they were.
He was so proud of his great granddad entering the first world war and entertaining the troops.

Would have loved him to go to Canada and find more info about his great grandmother Delia.
So enjoyed it.

I wanted him to trace Delia too.

Never heard of him, thought it was very boring and turned it off!! Not a patch on last week which was fascinating and made you want to know more!

Yes I was hoping they would let him go out but no luck.

I for one and fed up of hearing about peoples relatives in the First World War. I am sure it was interesting for him - but i got very bored.

I have to say I enjoyed this weeks WDYTYA...Lee Mack, not only because
some of it was filmed in Liverpool but more so just up the road from where
I live Knowsley... I never knew that Lord Derby, founder of PALS did some
training camps on the grounds of the Estate...you learn something new every
day

Found his Ancestors story quite interesting, we all have a story to tell and its
lovely to hear all about them....
