Jonny Peacock came across a really nice guy and had an interesting story.

My favourite WDYTYA of the whole series had to be Judge Robert Rinder.
He was such a nice person and his Family History was so tragic. I must admit that I blubbed through most of it.

A very enjoyable series :-)

I enjoyed Jonny Peacock, he seemed genuinely interested in what he found. I think he was last in the series?

The Robert Rinder one was very good and thought provoking. What a frightening, no, terrifying and difficult time for some of his ancestors. Also how appreciative they were of the life this country offered them.

It made me tearful too and I thought it would do some of the present day yobs and snowflakes good to learn about the real hardships and lack of opportunity people in the not so distant past have suffered.

Another enjoyable programme. OH said it was his favourite so far.

It's amazing what hindsight can do. All those years the family thought Fred was a "Grumpy old man"! Knowing about his life would have helped them to understand why!

Marvin came across as a really nice man :-)

He was a tryer, wasn't he? I thought Marvin's ancestors in Jamaica sounded interesting and Marvin was so nice about everyone. I could see how close his family are, which is why he's such a nice bloke, I think.

I got behind with watching this series so I'm catching up!

I was very tired and fell asleep during Olivia Coleman, but I'm glad I'd recorded it and watched it again. I really enjoyed her story. I did find her delightful.
Like Tabitha, I wasn't struck on Michelle Keegan. Actually, I've never been that struck on her!:-D

I don't watch Strictly (as I have two left feet :-D) but still found Shirley Ballas' story very interesting. It was a shame she couldn't find out more about her Malay side.

I have never heard of him - so its an open book - see what he is like and find out who he is

The Shirley Ballas story was interesting but I still didn't warm to her.

Looking forward to Marvin Humes journey as I like him

I agree thats what i said to my husband - why didn't they suggest she get the DNA done.

I really enjoyed this one and wished she had found a bit more out about the "Malay" family. Why didn't anyone suggest that the DaCosta man might be the father of Caroline's children?

Just looking at the photo of her GGG Grandfather you could see he was mixed race - but no-one else seemed to.

found myself quite liking her - which is very strange as i really dislike her & her attitude on Strictly. may change my mind like I did with Craig after his story.

Just watched Shirley Ballas.

Found it quite interesting.

When she was in Cape Town she went up the road with all the coloured houses, we went up that road when we stayed there.
It is very steep and our taxi driver didn’t fancy going but he made it.

They are called to prayer 6am and 6pm by loud speaker :-0

I recorded the Boy George one and it was quite spooky as I have just read a novel set in those days in Ireland. Characters in the book were killed because of their activities, and innocent prople were affected in the same way as the families of the fighters.

Very sad

I have to say I enjoyed this weeks WDYTYA...Lee Mack, not only because
some of it was filmed in Liverpool but more so just up the road from where
I live Knowsley... I never knew that Lord Derby, founder of PALS did some
training camps on the grounds of the Estate...you learn something new every
day
:-)

Found his Ancestors story quite interesting, we all have a story to tell and its
lovely to hear all about them....
