If they ditch D Abbott and J Corbyn then they may win but I doubt it.

careful Lee you might get RR'd...if memory serves me right Ann might have said something similar and others have....look earlier...the teenage spotty off spring of them with right wing views was one post :-D

Kense Report 7 Jun 2017 09:26

Well it looks like ill health means she won't be Home Secretary after all.

Kay????

Kay???? Report 7 Jun 2017 10:16

So much for party concern,,,,,,havnt they seen shes not been right for a long time.be it ill health or something else.!?

Kense Report 7 Jun 2017 10:29

Well, with Diane out of the way the election could get a lot closer. One poll has them with 306 seats, well short of a majority.

If they have a smaller majority than before then surely May will have to resign. Will Bojo reemerge as a possible PM?

Diane Abbott cannot cope with the tactic used by interviewers of "switch and bait" and JC should not have let her out alone !

Mrs May is another one who is easily thrown but old Boris...... he keeps talking over them :-)

Caroline

Caroline Report 7 Jun 2017 11:25

"It is difficult to register I know but Abbott is wildly popular with large chunks of Labour esp Momentum. She is prob out of the front line but will remain a player esp with the young and Londoners."

That should make us sleep sounder at night...so many actually think she's good!!

Does it make you think he's a great leader when he takes sooooooo long to dump an obvious weight and then replaces with someone who doesn't respect him and had the knives out for him in the past?

Oh dear Lee....RR'd....someone doesn't share the same sense of humour for a fun thread sorry

:-D

Caroline

Caroline Report 7 Jun 2017 11:41

Hmm....depends on the wording doesn't it...most reports are saying she's replaced for the period of her ill health...which rather leaves it open for her to walk back in once her headache of an election is over......

Caroline

Caroline Report 7 Jun 2017 13:38

That's possible but the door is still open and he's kept her there until the 11th hour....friends looking out for each other.

Caroline

Caroline Report 18 Jun 2017 16:12

Hmmm....some comments on here have been removed so it doesn't make sense but if memory serves me right someone said DA is gone she'll not be bought back as Home Secretary.....well today .....

Does it really matter?

Caroline

Caroline Report 18 Jun 2017 17:54

Yes if JC gets his way and forms the Government soon.

Guinevere

Guinevere Report 18 Jun 2017 18:42

I mean if comments are removed.

Caroline

Caroline Report 18 Jun 2017 18:51

Yes in so much as someone on here; honestly can't remember who; said JC wasn't going to bring her back as HS so it didn't matter if she was removed just for the election or not.

Pathetic, really, ill health due to type 2 diabetes is an excuse for being incompetent and out of her depth?

It is an insult to the millions of T2 sufferers who lead a full and normal life and actually contribute to society.

Stop drawing your £75,000 salary, over £200,000 for media appearance fees and another £100,000 from the BBC for acting like an incompetent idiot.

It is people like her who are ripping us off.

Absolutely shocking.

Caroline

Caroline Report 18 Jun 2017 19:28

I don't deny if she wasn't handling her T2 correctly it might have affected her interviews, so if she's now got it in control let her be interviewed again and now she's had time to research the answers she might get them right!

InspectorGreenPen

InspectorGreenPen Report 18 Jun 2017 20:15

Rubbish. She is incompetent always was and nothing is going to change that.

I suppose the good thing is that Corbyn's plan to tax the rich means that she will be hit with a higher tax bill.

Caroline

If I remember rightly, T May has diabetes too. I have no idea what type though.

In my opinion, D Abbott is fine if she is reading from her script but I don't believe she can think on the hoof which I think is a necessary quality in a politician. In fact, we are faced with a poor bunch because not many present-day politicians can do that either.
