At least they have now started to deploy the pinger detectors in the most likely area. Pity the pinger will be running out of power in the next few days. I hope it is working. |

the problem with informing the relatives - so many of them - if you started phoning them, before you got very far word wuld have got out and then those who had not received a phone call would have found out by other means cos it would have gone viral - very tricky - suppose what they should have done with hindsight was send a text asking them to phone in, but even then I don't think that would have worked |
