For once...............no-one did anything but respond to a thread about a child being unhappy.

For some reason one person was singled out and every post of theirs no matter how helpful got the RR treatment.

Very odd.................and irritating for those of us trying to have some input or learn something useful on a thread that was getting more disjointed by the minute :-S

Yes I also tried it again, the button is there and when hovering over it the hand shows indicating that it is live, perhaps it would not work, but as the reply box disapears you would expect the report button to as well.

I didn't actually click on it to find out if it worked Sylvia, don't want my wrist slapped for inappropriate rr'ing ;-)

Just to clarify, I have just logged out of GR then gone to this thread and attempted to RR Mayfield's post 15 Jul 2013 20:26

I clicked on the report button and a page opened asking me to register with GR,

That is not the page that opens when reporting a post if you are logged in as a paying member

GR decided the posts were not reportable and I for one are happy with the outcome, as I said before they should never had been reported silly games played by silly person(s)

So although I didn't follow it through the report option is certainly there for registered non-paying members.

You have to be a registered (paying or non-paying) member to use the RR facility.

Even if it is a non paying account doing the rr'ing....surely GR can see the ISP number...I know I could when I was a moderator of a chat site

But surely that depends on whether it is a static or dynamic IP address jax

Probably Errol :-D not very computer literate...all I remember was when anyone logged in up came some letters followed by some numbers....so if they had been banned we could tell but this was 4 years ago, things may have changed since then
