Sun filled greetings to you all

I have always wondered what went on behind the bike sheds. I've led a very sheltered life you know and no-one ever asked me anyway.

Glad to know you are all enjoying a beautiful Sunday. Feeling better today after 10 blissful hours of sleep.

Am now gently partaking of a delicious G & T to celebrate Andy's win.

:-D

We are very lucky to have our Nan...she really is an amazing lady I love her to bits....I was the naughty granddaughter who used to sneak sneaky fags to her, but I got caught and then at the age of 90ish she gave up after almost 75 years....... :-D <3

Budgie Hi and yes it was brilliant from start to finish

Errol, we went almost everywhere, all round the Island but left the busy hotelly south alone. Went to Bridgetown to go on Cool Runnings. I bought gifts in Store Cave Shepherd. I was amazed at the Chattel houses everywhere next to beautiful villas. The local people were the friendliest and attentive I have ever met. Bathsheba was amazing as was North Point. Beaches to die for too.

I found the history and photos of a plantation back in the day at St Nicholas Abbey fascinating.
There, I have probably bored you all to tears but am still buzzing !
More tonic methinks ;-)

Barb, your holiday sounds great, and glad to see you've recovered with 10 hours sleep and a large G&T - a perfect prescription!
Just had a lovely barbecue, with OH as the chef. Lamb chops (for OH, don't eat them in respect of Errol!), Sausages, Mushrooms, shallots, asparagus.........!
Now winding down with a glass of wine.
Cheers! It's been a lovely day! :-D <3

GinN

GinN Report 7 Jul 2013 20:52

Barbs - I will rent him out for a small fee, maybe a large G&T? Seriously, though, he's great at barbecuing - but wouldn't know where to start in the kitchen!

Mersey, my OHs Mum is 95, and is amazing for her age. Isn't it great to have a lovely Gran in the family! :-)

BarbinSGlos

BarbinSGlos Report 7 Jul 2013 21:01

94 how lovely Mersey. I only knew one of my grans and was just 26 when she died. She frightened the life out of me as I remember.

Have just seen the weather for all next week. Beautiful barby weather so I might take you up on that Geordie. 2 G&Ts if you like :-D :-D
