Great news that you have a definite moving date. I hope you will be really happy in your new home and everything goes well for you.

We haven't exchanged yet but everything seems to be moving ahead now so we think we will be moving mid-end September, which is a slight problem as we are going to be away from 7th-14th September. Couldn't be worse timing. I shall just have to try to be more or less ready to move before we go away.

Still completing 5th Sept and work starting 9th Sept, but now staying here till 30th Sept:))))))) could'nt stay with sister when l really got down to serious thinking:(

Vera....thats brill news, well done. It all works out in the end does'nt it. Yep you'll have to be mega organised and have it all ready to go on your return:)

Hope all your plans work out Jude and the place is ready when you want it to be with everything sorted just for you to settle in.

It's a very stressful thing moving especially when you have to have work done so try not to let yourself get anxious over things and take each day as it comes.

Packing is a slow process....we had family here Wed - Thurs so all the boxes and bits that were on the 2 spare beds had to disappear so l could make the beds:))..they have just started to re appear this afternoon:))...we may have one more person staying here before we move, but he'll sleep anywhere.....

Have you had a cull Jude? We tried but it seemed easier to just shove it all in boxes LOL OH got everso good at packing - a man on a mission :-D

A cull....oh my word yes l have, but l've had to tell Vic to leave me alone now, throwing craft stuff away is like throwing part of me away....if he keeps on there won't be any left, maybe thats what he wants...LOL

Vic has'nt started packing yet other than sorting plant pots and gardening tools.Plant pots are going to d i l so had to be emptied....they are very large, she's going to paint them bless her. She's also spotted a book shelf in the garage and a diddy wardrobe in little room. Vic told her the diddy wardrobe was going.....no way at this point as we won't have anything to put some clothes in, once we're sorted we'll start to add fitted furniture, then d i l can have it. It was my sisters.

l think we have one box still not unpacked from when we moved here 10 yrs ago...how long will yours stay unpacked??
