Can't remember the actual length of time but something like 5/6 hours, no pethadine, no gas, no epidural, a bit of bearable pain and no stitches. That was with the second one. No stitches with the first either 6 years before that but did have pethadine and a short whiff of gas forced on me, refused any more after that and about the same length of time. |

Am I the only one who was a dying duck? In bed for 6 weeks before birth so weak to start - luckily only lasted 9 hours - stitches. Second is supposed to be easier - wrong - 3 weeks early - waters broke week before so dry birth - lasted 27 hours. No stitches. |
