I am amazed how these woman do the 'dirty' on their own doorsteps! Deidre, Tracey, Sally. Can they go no further than the end of the street?

I do get fed up with the tv birthings. All that screaming and moaning, and anguish. Wonder she didn't hold onto the bedhead and Gail bought her towels and hot water!

Well I can remember all those years ago, I was just 21 and didn't utter a sound. Even the nurses remarked how quiet I was. And only petah dine to help, refused gas and air. Didn't even have petah dine with the second. No need for all that yelling.

I think we were made of sterner stuff Ann.

Don't forget we were multitasking too, giving birth, knitting booties, reading a book and putting our hair in curlers ready for visitors!

Don't remember making such a lot of noise with my first (think as I was in hospital for two days I'd been doped up :-0 ) but ..... embarrassingly now....remember shouting for mammy :-S when I had my son.

Does anyone agree that the Hayley storyline was very well handled?

Julie Hesmondhaigh is a fabbo actress and I think she underplayed her part wonderfully. The two hander with her and Roy was very delicately done.

Poor old Roy is trying to cope and failing miserably, she is putting on a brave face for him and everyone else.

Even Carla had a little weep.

I thought the scene with Hayley and Fiz was touching too.

There has been some word on Text that a Right To Die storyline is to be introduced, showing both sides of the argument.

I dunno about you lot, but I was sobbing along like a goodun!

I heard a whisper that she commits suicide - what's the betting they do the final episode of her life either on Christmas Day or New Year's Eve :-S

That said, it has been beautifully acted

Beautifully acted by all and very sensitively handled. I wept for them both but especially Roy...he will be lost without Hayley...*sniffs....and please don't tell me what could happen, Ann, I want to be lead up to the 'inevitable' slowly! lol
