I will say this Eldrick! i did not always agree with what you said, but your threads were always of interest!
I always had to find out if or what you said in certain threads! some were funny , some where shocking! and dare i say it ! some were intelligent!!

'twould be a poor world if we all agreed on everything. If we did we would still be sitting in bearskins and eating raw fish and we wouldn't have the cultural delights of Big Brother or X Factor. Oh, and we wouldn't have a coalition government and everyone would love eating marmite and peanut butter sandwiches.

So it's best to disagree on some things. I will leave it at that myself.

I still don't understand why Eldrick is going...........is he bored with the pink fluff on here, is he going on a sabbatical to find the 'meaning' of his existence? His lottery win would easily cover the cost of staying. Maybe the new family tree fell on him and he has decided to defect to another site! :-0

Actually, we are all recycled. Think of it this way. The atoms that form our bodies were all created at the beginning of the universe, the same time as all matter was created. When we die, whether we are burnt or buried, the atoms get recycled. Just through living, we lose atoms in the normal course of our lives. They get recycled. You or I may well have millions of atoms in our bodies from any single historical figure you may care to think of.

It's called the carbon cycle - the same number of atoms exist now that existed when the earth was formed. They just get recycled through various means.

So, in effect, it means that i, in all likelihood, have atoms in my body that were previously in Churchill, Julius Caesar, Og the Terrible from Glasgow and a brontosaurus.

And I think thats kind of cool. Far cooler than the idea of a man with a beard making me in his image :-)

Yes, I have always thought it rather cool too. We are all 'secondhand' and share what we are made of with everyone and everything else on earth. It's kind of humbling in a way.

Cant see I blame you Eldrick and I am double sure you will be missed but it ant arf got boring on here :-D

I I like the way that we are all rcycled., as is everything else in this world.
This includes water .. it is just that it is in different places and in different states.
