Yes i agree with you it's not nice , but surly GR would know that you or others have done nothing wrong by just looking at your post /thread. and why is the RR er getting away with it all the time surely GR should tell
them to stop .... or is it not that easy :-|

Well Julia, Its Persitenting down here in Sussex,I,m going to build an Ark.and the People can come in Two by Two.No animals,it will be bad enough without them. There will of course be a Naughty Step,but only RR ers and really clever people can sit on it.the cost being 4 bottles of booze to be consumed gently,any boozy behaviour will be tolorated with agreement with other members of the naughty step. :-S :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-) and :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P to the RRers.

I've never been RR'd yet and never read anything that has shocked
me or made me want to RR a post (if I did I would let that person
know that I was about to report the thread) No i would not like to be
in the position that you and others are re emails from GR, so do you
not take part and pack in all together, because complaining does not
seem to work?

Treehunter, I agree. If I don't like something, then I move onto something else. But that is not enough for some people. They report you because they can, and sometimes not for anymore reason than that.
There are some thread on here that are 'not my thing' but I would not report them. I would just not go on them.
GoldenGirl1 If you want to be a member and post on here, you just have to keep plodding on. I am talking from a personal point of view here. You hope that one of these days the moderators will 'out' the persistan RR'er. But as things stand, although they have said they will take action on any person found to be guilty of persisantly RRing the same person/people, they have never named names. In the same context that they threaten the person being RRed with a life ban, they should do the same to the person keep doing it.

Julia I get angry when I see you all being RRd and frustrated when
nothing is done about the rr'ers, to me, to my way of thinking you
and others are being bullied and harrassed. It really needs sorting
out, long over due.

I very much agree with you Emma. But, it would seem you are better thought og by GR if you are an RRer, than if you are RR'd.
They will never bother to sort it out.

Why is it always 'THE' RR'r rrr? er you know what I am trying to say here hopefully..
It gets annoying but TBH it could be lots of different people with lots of different ideas as to what is acceptable and what is not.
As I have said before , I personally would prefer to make up my own mind about the acceptability of a post without someone else deciding for me what I can read and what I can't .

I had a thread going with unusual place and street names and that was RR'ed just like most just a bit of fun.

It's the RRs that liven things up.

I do think that sometimes it is people who are non paying members. I can think of one in particular who would get great enjoyment out of doing it, just for the fun of inconveniencing other people. And would probably watch and see people getting annoyed. The same person would in all likelihood then chat to friends on FB about it. GR are not going to stop a lot of it while non paying members get the same privileges as those of us who pay.
They probably reprimand them but not a lot else they can do when people can rejoin under different e mail addys.
We won't know if they get a warning or not. We only know from members on here because they tell us.
Sometimes it is people who genuinely think the post or thread warrants it, even though we might think it is ok.

Every time there is an RR it now becomes the norm to assume that one or a few people must be responsible.
OK some names may have attracted stupid RR's but TBH the best way to deal with it is to totally ignore.

I have noticed that a lot of people are doing just that and turning the subject into a funny , light hearted thread that gets loads of replies.
Thats the way to deal with it , not analysis
Every forum gets people who object, people who maybe don't feel comfortable about posting a reply . :-D
