I just thought of one :-D

We saw a Fleetwood Mac tribute band with an Aunt and Uncle who had seen the real Fleetwood Mac.

The Aunt and Uncle were very impressed and said they were just like the real group. If any one gets a chance they are worth a look.

I have been watching the 1970s and sound of the 70s. I think its on Monday or Tuesday nights. This week was reggae evening, Steel Pulse, Bob Marley, Althea and Donna and even the Specials with a very young Terry Hall. It took me back to my youth :-D

JoyLouise and LollyWS I am so jealous!!

This really shows your age-my very first concert was in 1966 in Melbourne-Roy Orbison-fantastic!! Then mainly local bands at dances, then nothing much until The Delltones, in Springvale, Melbourne, at a local venue.

Then nothing until 2011

The Eagles -Melbourne-very expensive,my daughter paid-brilliant!

Neil Diamond-ditto above----

Jimmy Barnes and Cold Chisel-son paid- fantastic-all at Rod Laver Arena.Tickets were only $95.00 !!

I have great kids!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Did anyone see the Reggae Britannia on BBC3 the other night? All the Island artists were on it.

Gawd, it reminds me of going to a club at the Oval, called The Cricketers. It was over a pub, late 60's. All the new reggae was just becoming popular. So many people crammed into this little room. Music blaring and the sweat practially running down the walls.

Happy days.
:-D
