Just a thought, I you bought through an Estate Agent its possible it would be on the Brochure the printed for the property, it usually is . check them out they may still have it in their records .

hi ROY
thank you for your comments.as of now,i not done anything regarding the letter or speaking to the neighbours because of work commitments.
we have been given until the end off the month .
first thing on mon my husband is going to the council offices to try and find out more and ive invited the neighbours round on mon night,so hopefully we can sort this out.x
