Good news that they removed all the tumour with a clear margin.

Your daughter could help the fluid retention go down faster by doing some gentle massaging ........... moving from under the arm pit towards the breast bone. Using body lotion helps.

Keeping my fingers and everything else crossed for the appointment in 2 weeks time.

I am glad the news is good and hope the next stages go as well as this first part of the treatment, Ann. I know how worried you must be but your daughter sounds very sensible and will be making informed choices with a positive attitude. All good wishes to her, and you,

Ann - I've only just seen this thread for the first time. I have my 'favourites' set to go straight into my 'watched' threads and miss all others.

I was very concerned when I read the earlier posts but these latest ones sound very positive. You must have been very worried for quite a while about it.
Sending you positive thoughts and good wishes to your daughter.

More positive and healing thoughts for your daughter.
She sounds very level headed about any further treatment that may be required and I wish her all the very best for her continued recovery.

Just had a message from daughter to say she has an appointment on Monday with her Oncologist. First he phoned from one hospital to say attend Tuesday for R therapy planning. When she told him she had been told two weeks to decide RT or chemo, he gave her an appointment at the other hospital to discuss it, but she felt he seemed to think it would be RT she opted for. Very confusing but her appointment is 3.40 so goodness knows how late he will be running then.
