My name is Bridget. I have been on here for quite a number of years and found a lot of "Cyber Friends" they are friends I have never met but who hsve been wonderful pen pals.

I am 65, married twice, once for 24 years and now for 18 years. Four children from marriage number one and two stepsons from marriage number 2.
Two grandchildren a boy and a girl and four grandchildren from stepsons.

We all live in different places starting in numerical number:

Child one lives in Barcelona
Child two lives in East Anglia
Child number 3A lives in Winchester
Child number 3B lives in Wales
Stepson number one lives in Amsterdam
Stepson number two lives in London

We live in Spain.

I retired from work in early February this year not long before my 65 th birthday. Many people helped me through quite a traumatic time and have remained good Cyber Friends.
I trained as a Nurse at the London Hospital in east London and remained in nursing for most of my life. I also trained as a midwife but did not really enjoy it and almost by accident went into elderly Nursing Care. I specialised in various types of Dementia for both the older people snd young people,
I stopped that part of my career when we moved to Spain?

Having been married twice I feel lucky to have been married for 24 years the first time and still quite friendly when we meet at weddings etc and this time for 18 years.

My husband was in the Civil Service but had to take early retirement afte two heart attacks, and a sudden death experience.
Husband number one worked in the City of London.

I never put the real names of my family on here as I feel it to be unwise.

My main hobby is family research, but I also enjoy cooking, hence Bridgets Culinary Delights thread, I enjoy writing and can be nosy therefore " Why did you or your family leave..." is another thread of mine and Bridgets Daily Diary. It would be great if you now posted something on these threads

Bye bye

Bridget.

:-)

Hello Sue.

I'm Sue too :-) I live in Australia although I was born in England. My parents emigrated when I was 3. I've made lots of wonderful friends on this site and it has been my pleasure to meet some of them - some only recently.

Obviously I love family history, scrapbooking, photography and reading. I have 3 adult children, 4 grandchildren and have been married for 38 years.

I do a lot of volunteer work at my local hospital working with cancer patients - this keeps me very busy but I enjoy it.

I'm Sharron.58.Fat old biddy with grey lesbian haircut and glasses.

Live in village near Chichester where I was born as were five or six generations before me.We only came from Pompey before that. Don't think we have any traveler in us!

My mother was narcissistic.I am not married but have been with my bloke for exactly three and a half in April. Years? No, broken mirrors!

I am supposed to be carer for my 91 year old dad who had a stroke five years ago but should really be done under the Trades Description Act because I have made him get on and do it all in his wheelchair. Now he goes out foraging with his mate and lands me with a lot of cooking and preserving.

First did my tree thirty odd years ago and went on to other things.Doing a bit of mediaeval stuff at the moment.
